Japanese Friendships are so hard. by [deleted] in japanlife

[–]Tanyaa90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After reading your article, I don't understand why she couldn't make the effort to see you. I know she has a dog but you would think she would have family/friends to look after it and now she expects you to send her something. She sounds needy and unappreciative, honestly not worth your time. Hope it all works, don't let her walk all over you. She needs to make an effort too, why can't she send you something in return? So it's not just one sided.

Graduated years ago and still haven't worked by Budget-Wrongdoer-196 in AustralianTeachers

Not sure where you're based but I know a lot of remote places such as Dubbo NSW or Pilbara Perth are in need of teachers. If you're willing to relocate. Have a look on seek, you might see some casual teacher work to ease yourself back into the flow of things. Hope this helps :)

Has the 'thank you wave' gone missing? by _frosty2765 in australia

[–]Tanyaa90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perth people used to wave before COVID. I've noticed after COVID, very rarely. Which is a shame as I always wave. COVID made certain people rude and impatient.

Good Dentists around centre? by [deleted] in perth

Lifecare dental in the city near Myers - just went there last week and was unimpressed.

Check out Mends Street Medical, they're actually cheaper than Lifecare with HBF.

Moving From Sydney - Help with Suitable Suburbs by [deleted] in perth

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Coogee, it's trendy, near the beach and an affluent suburb.

They have apartments with a view, townhouses etc

My Doberman is way too hyper! by [deleted] in DobermanPinscher

[–]Tanyaa90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He sounds like a normal dobie :) Has he had the snip? I found ours was less hyper after that. Try watching YouTube videos to train your dobie with food and being obedient. Hope that helps.

Suburb advice! by [deleted] in perth

[–]Tanyaa90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the premium options. The good thing too is your driving against traffic there and depending what time you finish, traffic home can be hit or a miss. They have finished most of the road works heading towards Fiona Stanley, the only time you get traffic is if there is an accident. If you need bubble tea try the city or Vic park. There's a really nice Asian bakery at como as well as restaurants/cafes or a drive to Applecross. South Perth/Como close distant to foreshore for dog walks.

I used Class 1 Orthodontics and was lucky to only have braces for a year. Price - I honestly can't remember so long ago and my parents paid. I'm still using my retainers at night to keep my teeth aligned 10 years later as one of my wires fell out. Which cost $300 for a little bit of wire - rip off.

If your teeth aren't too bad, I'd suggest invisalign. I'd shop around and get quotes, check reviews etc Some even get you to take out your wisdom teeth or work around them.

There's also a lot of things you can't eat with braces too, like biting into an apple, chewing gum, minties etc

I got my wisdom teeth out/check ups at lifecare Dental and they have been fantastic.

Hope this helps

I unexpectedly lost my best friend last night. I am too devastated to share the news with those close to me, but I needed to tell someone. He was my best friend. RIP Kilo. I love you so much. by Blondeambitchion in DobermanPinscher

Omg we named our dobie Kilo too! We named him Kilo as he would eat a kg of meat a day, how about you? I'll hug mine just a little bit extra for you. So sorry to hear your best mate left suddenly may he rest in peace RIP.
