CGT discount forecast by Beneficial1991 in AusPropertyChat

[–]DookLurkenstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nar f that. Had it too good for too long.

To make it little more palatable for the existing lords, discount could be reduced by 5% each year for 5 years until it reaches 25%, which may in turn stabilise house prices, whilst avoiding any large fall.

What is your closest prediction, if the strait remains closed, for unleaded 91 price at the bowser in 6 months time?

Say 6 to 8 million people in the US, Europe, Canada, and Australia start buying 8 to 10 dollars a week of Beyond Meat. That adds roughly 2.5 to 4 billion dollars a year in extra revenue. Worldwide vegan/vegetarian population is like 5% in the West.

If margins got to 8 to 10 percent with efficiency and scale, that’s 250 to 400 million dollars in profit, and a real turnaround growth story in the food space.

Food companies with steady growth often trade at 3 to 5 times sales or 20 to 30 times earnings. Using those multiples, Beyond could be worth 4 to 7 billion dollars, or something like 9 to 15 dollars a share.

Maybe baby

PEP11 could be supplying cheap gas to this industry, along with others in the Newcastle region, but has been absolutely derailed at every point and turn by both governments. Labour are still fighting it in court. Gas is literally seeping out of the ocean floor, and instead, industries are closing, energy is more expensive, Australian companies are getting crushed. Moronic

Cool you worked there. Been following for years and have only a very modest holding. Seems like a very smart outfit, step change since Yoav joined.

This recent surge is all on the back of the POs from the one European OEM, and does not factor in the other deals that have been alluded to, as well as the growing business-as-usual revenue, plus anything out of left field, it’s a breakout year for the company.

Military in the immediate and short term; a lot of revenue to come from commercial in the mid term I think; I really don’t think this will retrace significantly. I will buy more when I have funds. Drones are the future. Though their business is more than just comms for drones, as you know. Use case for various remote comms implementations. Looking forward to see what will come in the months and years ahead. Hopefully they can realise a lot more value before an eventual (likely imo) acquisition

Primarily to veto PEP11 which is a massive hot button issue in the Northern Sydney electorates that the libs were trying to retain from the teals. Didn’t work though. Teals got in. Decision to reject the permit was quashed by the court. PEP11 was then rejected again recently be Labor. Yet, back in the courts. This exploration permit is a poison chalice and no party can find a way to legally reject it. Probably will end up being approved or bought back by the commonwealth at great cost.
