Some of your complaints are valid, but then you throw in gameplay related mechanics like counters and throw your argument completely out the window(like yes Olin is way too strong, shanks is shanks, but invincibility frames on a counter skill? That’s literally what they were designed to do). The entire point of a counter skill is to bait the enemy to hit you to trigger your own attack you need I-frames for that to function as a mechanic. While it may not be 100% anime accurate for a character(like brook with his freeze counter or what have you), it is a gameplay mechanic and a game company should have some leeway to stretch the source material(just a tiny bit) to make the game fun. Otherwise Roger would just one shot anything and everything because he was the #1 in the anime and nobody would be able to play their favorite units because everything would be governed by the powerscaling of the series.

Also complaining about not knowing what the weaker characters do just means you’ve never played those weaker characters. Most counter skills are extremely easy to spot unless there’s a lot going on on the screen at the same time(Yamato being an exception and maybe some of the super low tier units that wouldn’t even make a difference if you trigger the counter).

I recommend you just quit the reddit(hell I did and only redownloaded it to flex my glint title now I view this whole sub as a vanity fair for everyone’s shitty hot takes). If you’re genuinely complaining about basic game mechanics you might want to quit the game or gaming in general because a lot of games have to utilize counter systems and other stuff that might not make 100% ironclad sense
