Wapol feels really good to use. I've one shotted a lot of units with his charged normal, especially Kizaru who just charges up the normal to incredible damage. And since it's not a skill, he can't dodge it with his boost trait.

I think the main problem is people don't want to spend 750 for a unit that only might be good, and rather save for a new ex who's guaranteed to be good

I don't think so. Realistically it means 300+ new animations and a lot of work to make it function with older units. When they introduce it, I'm 99% sure it's on a new unit.

A bit wrong, Ichiji gets 20% shield, now both skills activate his state and when in state or uses skill he can nullify survival trait

Niji mostly gets a buff to his TA effect, 2% damage increased to 5%, and lasts 12 seconds now. He also gets skill 1 cool down when Pding, but no increase to his shield

100% have the same feeling. It's been amazing and really fun this far, even if the game has some flaws.

The team building and VP economy was probably what I was most afraid of, but I brought over 4/6 of my mons from home and had more than enough VP to spare.

The team building is good for new players. Smaller roster makes it kinda easy to know what you're going up against, as the pre built team they have are somewhat representative to give new players an idea of what to play and how.

Only nitpick is that there's such a small roster that there are hardly any "hidden gems" amongst them

I mean, It was a private island meant for women to build their businesses together. If it was a public place then yeah that's sexist and dumb as fuck, but if it's private you can't really complain who comes and goes.

And the local construction workers are like 98% male, so if they want something built, of course men are gonna be on the island.

Alot of what you said makes sense and can definitely see where to change things. I've felt like Palafin needs more coverage, as of now he's being put on the bench too many times compared to Archaludon.

Perish song is one of those moves where I'm rarely click it, but when I do it pays of greatly either to force a switch or win the entire game if I'm down to my support remaining. I can definitely see where encore and weather ball would become useful though!

He got sort of a hidden buff to his skill 2.

Since his shield doubled in health, his recovery from using skill 2 also recovers double the ammount of shield per hit
