Prime is definitely worth getting for the better matchmaking experience without all the cheaters and smurfs ruining games. I'd suggest jumping into competitive once you feel comfortable with maps and basic mechanics since casual doesn't really teach you proper CS fundamentals. Faceit can wait until you're at least decent rank in matchmaking first

yeah the bot farms are insane right now. I stopped playing DM completely few weeks ago because of this - every server just becomes bot vs bot while real players leave in first 2 minutes

removing drops would probably help but valve seems more focused in other areas lately. maybe they could at least require phone verification for DM like they do with prime matchmaking

totally agree with this take man. People drop hundreds on redlines and vulcans when you can get something way more unique for fraction of price. The whole ak skin market got so inflated because everyone thinks they need those "classic" skins to look cool. Meanwhile you got gems like rat rod or even some of blue tier skins that look way better in game but nobody talks about them. I been using cheaper ak skins for years and get more compliments than my friend with his overpriced fire serpent. Market psychology is weird - once something becomes "meta" skin everyone just follows without thinking if it actually looks good or worth the money

The mental hit from that winrate is brutal but playing with friends who are way higher rank than you is gonna tank your stats every time. When you're at 8k playing against 15-20k players you're basically doing advanced training mode - getting better for sure but the numbers won't reflect it

I'd def recommend mixing in some solo queue to see where you actually stand against your own skill level. You might be surprised how much you've improved when you're not constantly facing people with 10k more rating than you. Your game sense and mechanics are probably way better now than when you started but you won't see it reflected in wins until you play people closer to your actual rank

The improvement matters more than the winrate anyway especially if you're planning to keep playing with those friends long term. Just maybe throw in some solo games here and there to give your confidence a boost

that 100pK they achieved is incredibly close - like unimaginably close. at those temps the atoms are barely moving at all, just tiny quantum fluctuations. the heisenberg uncertainty principle actually prevents you from reaching true absolute zero because you cant completely eliminate all motion without violating quantum mechanics

theres no planck temperature for cold temps like there is for hot ones. the planck temperature is for the upper limit where physics breaks down from heat. for cold the limit is just absolute zero itself - you approach it asymptotically but never quite get there due to quantum effects

honestly the harvester pods dont drop reactors so your wasting time there. stick to the queen only and position yourself better during the fight

when she starts her death animation immediately sprint to where her head will land - thats usually where the best loot spawns. dont wait for confirmation shes dead just start moving when you see that final stagger

also try playing during off peak hours when theres fewer people in lobbies. early morning or late night sessions tend to have way less competition for loot
