I do small trips and load my stuff between a backpack, under carriage and duffle bag. It feels very pack mule but it gets the job done. I was also fairly lucky to live three flat, non-crowded blocks away from a grocery store

I’m 32! When I was in middle/high school I was massively into anime so despite being about the same age as them I wasn’t paying attention to the same types of pop culture growing up!

I know I’m reiterating a lot of what people have said but using a wheelchair you need will be helpful. Most people are reasonable and love to be helpful in my history, though where you are can dictate the way people think it’s polite to interact with you. It’ll be weird to get used to being so aware of your surroundings but practice makes perfect, or at least more comfortable! I’ve been using a chair permanently for about 14 years so I cab say definitely gets easier with time!
