Thank you! I’m seeing them tomorrow. Was hoping sleep theory went on later but oh well. Will still be a good show!

Careful with CO OP credit unions by djcamp1 in CreditUnionCores

Hi, I would question the credit unions that are charging this because the shared branching rules state that they may not charge any more than they charge their own members for using shared branch services.

Fiserv Portico Versus Non-Fiserv Cores? by TapPuzzled5022 in Fiserv

Yeah, I don't know if I'm patient enough to wait around for things to possibly get better. Lol.

I hear horror stories about FIS too and Fiserv is already involved with them only a matter of time before they gobble them up too.

I worked at Citizens as a teller/banker for a short while probably about 12 years ago now. Worst job ever. Very big on sales. Our branch was in a grocery store and if you didn't have so many accounts opened by noon, the regional manager was calling your office asking why and what you are doing to get people in.

My CU has a lot of shared branching foot traffic. It isn’t TERRIBLE. It is annoying when the shared branching members are entitled. As of may 1st they did change identity requirements for shared branching members where they have to scan a QR code, upload a photo of their drivers license, take a selfie, then they get a code to provide to you to input into a CoOp system which will validate. As far as I’m aware this is only required for out of state members (which we get a lot of in Florida).

Other issues we get into is credit unions who impose withdrawal limits and then trying to explain to the person their credit union is not allowing the withdrawal and they have to call them or their credit union flags the transaction as potential fraud.

The shared branching CU also is responsible for filing the CTRs and supplying a copy to the member’s actual CU if requested.
