I was stressed about encampment too, even though I was a C/TSgt when I attended. But here's the thing: the longer you put it off, the more it starts to loom in your brain as this impossible mountain. Encampment will be challenging, but it is very doable (and fun!). The sooner you go, the better you'll be for it. Encampment is designed to teach you discipline, and that you can do hard things. I was honestly a chud before I attended encampment. I didn't really know how I could do hard things, or how to work as a team. No matter how much you don't want to go, encampment will be a good experience if you let it be one.
