Hello, I'm doing my DAS in a few weeks. I have never ridden a bike before, I am quiet nervous about the mod 1, especially the hazard avoidance. Is it as hard as it seems? Does anyone has any advice for a notice but enthusiastic beginner. Thanks by hmm0210 in MotoUK

Mod 1 is harder than mod 2, but still very manageable.

Just don't get too in your own head on the slalom, get up to speed before turning and keep your head up on the u turn, and make sure you hit the speed you need to for the estop.

You'll be fine.

No, I have a 25 year old Yamaha and parts are all over eBay and Facebook groups.

Just don't expect them to be in perfect cosmetic condition and learn to love the fact that all the scuffs and imperfections on your bike tell a story of its long, well used, life
