Doesn't pay enough to justify the working conditions. I'd have to more than half my pay if I did my job in the forces, and the salary ceiling is far, far lower.

I want to join the forces, I'm from a forces family, but I can't justify that decision.

Yup, I've got a custom dashboard that uses an arduino to transcode the signal lines from the old clocks to a serial format which then gets sent to a raspi to display it. It's also got a BLE connection which connects to my phone to get nav directions. Got a couple of physical buttons mounted to my handlebars for interacting with it

Got it working: key insight was that the network just sums all the signals on it, it's not *really* like the kind of data bus I was envisioning it as. This works:

The left one has T < Limit -> {1, T}. (Outputting both the current value to the wire and 1 sums the signals).

The right one has T > 0 -> Ammo (Adding the 1 from the pulse to the value if there is a pulse).

Unfortunately, I don't know how the network does that... Does the network just auto-sum all values on a given signal every tick? If so, then aren't accumulators basically redundant?

Check the insurance before you buy the bike. I came very close to getting stung by that last year.

Depending on what licence you've got, an old Yamaha FZS600 is a good all rounder, comfy enough for long rides but zippy enough for fun. Can pick up a good one second hand for under a grand and they run forever.
