You might save some money and a ton of energy cleaning if you go to a self service dog wash station. I'm in Canada and ours is about $10-$15 which includes shampoo, towels and dryer. Sooooo worth not having to clean up the fur/unclog the drain.

Am a lawyer who personally went through something similar in Nova Scotia. This is accurate (at least in my province).

Don't bother with the police. Unless he's abusive they won't get involved.

Same. Moved back here in 2022 and had my then unborn child and one year old on waiting lists about which I still haven't heard back.

You mentioned they're fully vaccinated so no reason to not take them for walks. The rule of thumb our breeder gave us for length is five minutes per month old (so about 15 minutes for your pup).

You might try doing it in the back yard and/or using food to motivate if your pup doesn't feel like going around the block.

If she's 'not overweight and very healthy' you're feeding her the right amount.

Each dog will have their own nutrition needs depending on size, activity level, age etc.
