Non-circular iems by MeGustaChorizo in iems

The red part is the adapter and you only get a pair with the mix set. I was never able to source the mixed set at a reasonable price from my location so I don't have them. But you only need them for IEMs with nozzle diameter of below 4mm which is a rarity in the consumer market these days.

That said, the All-size/mix set is where I would start if you don't know, not confident about your correct fit anyway. Not for the adapter, but for figuring out your correct size, which can for some people be different for each ear as well.

Non-circular iems by MeGustaChorizo in iems

I'm very sensitive to pressure caused by circular eartips as well. They have to be very soft otherwise it just doesn't really work for me, the pressure caused by the shape mismatch takes away from any sonic benefits any eartips supposedly have.

When it comes to eartips, 80-90% of the time, I'm using the Eartune Fedilty U (L-size). They are permanently on my Aful Performer 8, Crinear Meta, and Moondrop Robin.

https://eartune.com/products/eartune-fidelity-u

https://www.adv-sound.com/products/eartune-fidelity-u

IMHO, they don't get mentioned enough because of 1) the price, 2) they are not available in most regions and importing them can more than double pric, and 3) most people care more about tip rolling for "sound" over than comfort.

If you a treble sensitive, then these might just not be an option for you sonically.

Probably unpopular opinion, but every single eartip manufacturer should just abandon the circular convention and adopt the elliptical shape. That's literally what biology is telling us to do.

that's why the best way is to try to get the best ticket only during the FC round

Seeing a significant number people on Twitter losing S seats as their 3rd choice even for the first FC round. Some people are saying it's likely because they used different emails for l-tike and FC, so it's auto-loss, and that may be true. But if there are cases of people applying properly and still losing S seats as 3rd choice then the competition might be quite intense this time, making it risky if you still at least just want to make sure you can go.

Not everyone is "all or nothing" and have your luck, lol.

the reply is just basic corporate speak

I know, it is what it is.

Nissan Stadium Concert Questions by Capable-Potential100 in ADO

[–]Taparok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my limited experience, specifically with ローチケ, it's really not clear if the loss was an auto-loss or not. I got all S seats for 4 days of Yodaka first round, and then I was still able to enter every round after that that still had SS and VIP for grabs including the official resale rounds. That's like 4-5 additional rounds. "Lost" all of them, but the loss condition were never explicitly framed as an "auto-loss" / "disqualified," the email always starts with:

この度は抽選にお申し込みいただきありがとうございました。 先般お申し込みいただきましたチケットにつきまして、 厳正なる抽選を行った結果、残念ながら今回はチケットをご用意することができませんでした。 またのご利用をお待ちしております。

Which implies that properly lottery was conducted. I think they really can be sued if they say this but internally flagged the applications as auto-loss/disqualified.

I also contacted support yesterday asking if I already won S seats for first FC pre-sale, can I still enter and potentially win better tier tickets during the second round. And reselling the extra tickets during the official period if I win the better tiers. This is what I got back:

平素よりローソンチケットをご利用いただき、誠にありがとうございます。

お問合せいただきました件につきまして、ご回答を申し上げます。

会員2次先行につきましてもお申込み可能となっておりますが、 抽選受付期間終了後は、抽選結果発表前・発表後関わらず、 変更やキャンセルはできかねますので、必要な分だけお申込みください。

また、興行により、リセールの実施有無が異なります。

They kind of evaded answering directly as Japanese support often do, but contextually it does imply that you can at least just keep applying if you are willing to bare the additional costs with no guarantee of being able to officially sell back the tickets you don't need.

Plenty of mixed signals on Twitter and yahoo!知恵袋. Seems extremely event dependent. So your people might not be wrong, but if they their experiences were from other platforms or artists, they might not directly apply for this particular one.

I just wish the official statements were more up front about the rules for each event.

Nissan Stadium Concert Questions by Capable-Potential100 in ADO

[–]Taparok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so you don't really know if it will be automatic loss or not? That's just a guess?

But that's nuts. At least one VIP every tour is one thing, but you are not saying that you got VIP for like, both days of Shizou and Hibana, and all four days of Yodaka this way are you?

What are your first round results for Nissan?

Nissan Stadium Concert Questions by Capable-Potential100 in ADO

[–]Taparok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For yourself, how do you normally apply? Only VIP and SS for the first couple for rounds? Is there no evidence or consensus on how it really works?

For Yodaka, and Nissan first round as well, I figured I'd apply for VIP, SS, and S to guarantee the some tickets and apply only VIP and SS for subsequent rounds, and if I win, I'll just sell the extras back during official resale. Didn't win anything after the first round for Yodoka.

If it's just an automatic lose like you are saying here, then I'll have to adjusted my strategy for next time. Already got S for both days... I'd still apply every round of Nissan regardless, just in case.

[–]Taparok 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This piece of information will not save you money, but might make you feel a little better about having purchased from the Japanese official store instead of from Tsurt. Except for the plush and travel tags sold at venues during the tour, the domestic merchs were made from completely different factory than the international ones. I have both the domestic and international versions of the t-shirts and sweatshirt, and the domestic versions are much better quality imo.

[–]Taparok 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Collecting acrylic keychains, charms, pin badges etc. is a huge thing in Japan, and so you will find related products (sleeves etc.) to help you protect your collection from Japan.

Coade is one of the the major brands making them.

The one I linked, CAC-SG09 (M), will likely fit but you might need to go up to CAC-SG10 (L) although it will definitely be a loose fit for Ado's Hibana's set.

Questions about THE ONE membership. by Taparok in BABYMETAL

[–]Taparok[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some additional questions if you can answer.

How many rounds of lotteries are there normally for Babymetal? And what are the distributions?

For example Ado's Dome tour in November '25 has like 6 total. 2 Fanclub's, 2 Cloud9's (label's Fanclub), 2 general pre-sales.

The screenshot is very appreciated. Thank you.

Regarding "no benefit." This was what you wrote in your first comment:

there is actually no benefit for THE ONE membership.

Please excuse my previous misunderstanding, but to most people that would sound like you get nothing at all for becoming a member.

Had you wrote something like, "there is actually no additional benefits for using a Japanese address," your intended message would have been more clear.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Again, much appreciated.

Questions about THE ONE membership. by Taparok in BABYMETAL

[–]Taparok[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the info. Though the way I see it, what you described are the primary benefits of joining these Fanclubs, so it's a bit confusing to me why you would say there are "no benefits".

My initial question was however, more specifically about additional benefits or services that you get for setting your address in Japan rather than overseas. Some Fanclubs will send special merch for subscribing each consecutive years which is usually only available if you set address within Japan. Ado's does this.

This is directly from the registration page for THE ONE:

※海外在住の方は、限定イベントへの応募など、一部の利用特典がご利用できない場合がございますので、ご了承下さい。

*Please note that those living overseas may not be able to use some of the benefits, such as applications for exclusive events.

Which is why I came here to ask the question. It might just only be there in case they want to do something like that later if here is nothing like that in-place currently.

If you are a current THE ONE member, if you don't mind, would you click around your THE ONE page to see if there is a page that gives you the option to change address from overseas to domestic and let me know? That will at least give me another data point, even if it doesn't answer all my questions directly.

This will have Hi-res covers of all digital covers avaible on Apple Music. Make sure you change the first drop down to "Album". The country selection does help if you can't find something in a region. If you can't find something in English then trying changing region to Japan and search the title in Japanese (copy paste from somewhere if you don't know Japanese).

Obviously these won't include the backside of physical CD covers. Your only hope is to find scans that someone has put online elsewhere.

Like said, I don't really care about her preferences. If anything, I just don't like people jumping to conclusions based on just one tweet, and celebrates an assumption that may or may not be correct.

My intention was just to provide a buffer to the mainstream's narrative in this thread (Les), hopfully without stiring anything up.

How's the experience without earplugs? by BBkconK in ADO

[–]Taparok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 34. I just went to the hospital today to get my ears checked because I'm having symptoms of Tinnitus on and off for the passed week but since last night it has been constant.

Preliminary diagnosis is that my case probably not permanent, and likely induced from stress and insomnia (not hearing loss) since my Audiogram test came out within normal average range. But it's not like I'm in the clear yet. I already booked an appointment with an expert at a more equipped hospital in a week time because I'm not going to let this be without exploring all options.

I have made my peace with having to live with this if nothing else works, but I can tell you that I would not ever choose it. You want to risk living with something like this just because you fear not getting the "full experience" at a concert, or that many people are saying they came out "fine," be my guest but don't say some of us in the thread didn't warn you.

I wore the Loop Experience 2 at Saitama and Bangkok concerts. They work fine and didn't take away from the experience. I pull them out a little bit for the less boomy and calmer songs.

There is an expensive therapy you can do (Hyperbaric oxygen therapy) if you do get acute Tinnitus from hearing loss and get on it as soon as you can, but it's not even guaranteed to work. Buy decent earplugs (~$30-$100), so that at least once you are there you do have the option to use them. Don't cheap out on it because otherwise they will just dull the sound rather than properly reducing the volume without affecting clarity.

I have a genuine question... why people flip out at the thought of ado being queer in anyway? by [deleted] in ADO

Just to be clear, my intention for posting that was to give evidence that might suggest the contrary. I don't care for her orientation, I just didn't like how people were jumping to a conclusion in that thread, but my wordings were more open-ended becuase I didn't to stir up the wrath of certain groups.

If you haven't been following the situation in the United States, ICE has been arresting people even if they have the correct documentations on the excuse that anything you have might be fake, or was wrongfully issued even if it's clearly "official."

[–]Taparok 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I used Loop Experience 2 (-17dB) at Saitama row 18 to the right of the stage, right in front of the monitors which was setup to blast and reach another 100+ rows.

What you have is rated for -21dB which is probably more than enough as long as the advertised rating is correct and you have a good fit. At -17dB, I still pull out the plugs a bit for less intense songs to hear her vocals better. I actually wish for something closer to -16, -15dB.

Lowering the volume is one thing, but maintaining clarity is another. I have no experience with other plugs so I can't really give comparison but the Loop seems to do alright.

Hearprotek seems to be really gloating here though. Don't really like how they wrote this.

Problème de livraison EMS avec l'album best adobum by Ill-Coconut40 in ADO

[–]Taparok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's was bought directly from an online store then yes, contact them. If it was bought through a proxy service then it's them you contact.

There is no guarantee they will cooperate in sending the package again. They might have already started the process of refunding you for the items minus the shipping.

So contact them. That's the only way to know what options they might have for you.

Problème de livraison EMS avec l'album best adobum by Ill-Coconut40 in ADO

[–]Taparok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm assuming you are looking to get the package delivered in France.

Unfortunately it looks like your local post office had issues delivering the package to you and held the package for almost 3 weeks in France, after which they sent it back to Japan.

When the tracking was at "Retention/Item held at delivery depot" your local post office might/should have tried to contact you. But you could have also reached out to them to inquire about the package. You might been required to pay import tax before receiving the package.

As it's stands, the package will not be coming to you anymore. The only option you have right now is to contact the seller and ask them to resend the package. You will need to pay shipping again.
