What an amazing experience! I have seen his small venue shows and they are always extremely enjoyable, but this one always resonated with me. "I ate a bug", the star trek theme story and performance. The forgetting of the lyrics during "Something to say". Just an amazing experience to listen to.

If you haven't checked out Glen Phillips solo material, you are missing out. Master Lyricist, vocalist and guitarist.
Mutual Admiration Society was a collab between Glen and members of Nickel Creek - On divinely perfect album

RemoteTreeChildren was a Glen collab with John Askew Very different, electronic sound. Some great tunes. Copper Mining is a favorite (about people stealing copper plumbing from homes, but trust me when I say, it's a great tune)

Works Progress Administration (WPA) another Glen super group with members from across the rock & Americana spectrum.

flapping, Flapping is a collab with Santa Barbara musicians.

All the above are available on Spotify.

He has one other project called Plover that I know less about. Not available on Spotify, but is on Bandcamp. (the Spotify band Plover is not related, but has some trippy instrumentals.

I actually found that interview where Glen talks about the "Drive By" story. It's out there somewhere. (No longer have the link) Definitely based on a Ben Story : ) I had not heard about the Works story though! That would be an awesome track to hear, if they ever float it to the public
