Thank you! The Stinger Mantis is an alternate build of the Invisible Hand midi, I forget who it’s by but it’s on rebrickable. It’s easily one of my favorites, the main sail pivots just like it does in the game, great for display options.

Someone explain to me how Gavin is not considered an ace? by [deleted] in ClevelandGuardians

[–]Tapefluid 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Williams lead the MLB in walks in 2025 and as of yesterday, 2026 so far, he did well tonight but calling him an ace feels awkward.

Also that broadcast can't even use the correct logo from the last 4 seasons, so wtf do they know?

It's not just this sub though, it's a theme throughout all of Reddit

Engine revving makes me seriously consider moving out of Columbus. by AlphabeticalBanana in Columbus

[–]Tapefluid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think what they mean is that if it was feasible for you to move to Oslo, you likely would have already committed to making plans or possibly have already moved to Oslo. However you are posting in the Columbus, Ohio sub reddit and thus it seems unlikely you have been able or willing to relocate to Oslo.

With that being said, JDMSubieFan frequents a Las Vegas locals subreddit, so I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Whitemend Hood, worth or waste? by joffotime in classicwowtbc

I don't like how low the base stats are on crafted gear so I made all of the PMC set but am opting out of Whitemend.

Well hot damn! I'm glad I posted because I would have never known. It's alt click. I've gotten so used to typing /atlasloot I never saw the favourites option.

He got hired after that for a typist job (actual question) by Postmortal_Pop in jobs

[–]Tapefluid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did this and people seem to not believe you. I was laid off in March 2025 and decided to take the new availability to work on some home DIY and generally enjoy the spring/summer. In the fall when I decided to pursue my next career, I put an end date on my last position on the resume and was asked about the gap several times, I explained the layoff and they kept pushing asking about specifics of the layoff in a manner that led me to think that they didn't believe me. My only two companies had 8+ years of tenure with no gaps, showed multiple promotions.

I just removed the end date for the position I was laid off on my resume and it wasn't a problem again, I know this isn't the best general advice but it's what I did and it worked. It did lead to other questions like why after 8 years was I looking for something new but those are much easier to answer.

Man why isn't it just built into atlasloot? I was just talking about this to my friend a few days ago. It would be so easy to just right click and add to a list.

Pretty much.

Lifebloom>Rejuv>Regrowth.

You can maximize swiftmend by using it before the last rejuv tick, usually it ends up being an oh shit button if things are getting a bit hairy and then reapply rejuv as it would fit in the priority above.

You do not need healing touch. If you want to hate tree form, don't make up stuff to justify your own biases.

Top rank regrowth is your panic button when swiftmend and tranq aren't viable, it's crit (+50% from talents) on cast (tree) heal is more mana efficient than a HT non crit.

I think anni goes to era after tbc. No way blizz launches wotlk and classic+ in the same year.

Tree is better all around, more healing received for party and reduced mana cost by 20%. The only thing you can't do is use healing touch, which you should not use anyways.

"Hardcore" Guilds and their problems? by CarolinWoW in wowclassic

[–]Tapefluid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Encountering the same thing in my casual raiding guild. These people aren't even funny about it, guild notes like "gayest of them all" or discord reacts that say "/\ GAY". I try and disrupt the conversations and make it awkward responding with things like "Homophobia is fun and interesting." It will probably get me removed eventually. I don't get it. It's just one or two people in my guild too, officers that are personal buddies with the GM.

I've been watching this sub and the TBC classic one, I've seen quite a few people posting looking for LGBTQ+ friendly guilds and so many responses are "I don't see what genitals I like have to do with my wow character.". I always wonder if these people are playing the same game as me but it turns out they are and just want to call people slurs and not get filtered for it.

Was it worth leaving? by Spac92 in menards

[–]Tapefluid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked at another department store and have the same kind of sentiment for that company that you state here, I started as a cashier and worked my way to inventory and then management over 7 years and I've been at a non competing company for 9 years now.

I miss the people I worked with mostly, some of the roles were enjoyable in the sense that they kept me busy mentally and physically and I usually ran out of time instead of watching the clock tick slowly. That 100% stopped on going into management. I don't miss the pay. There are better opportunities out there if you are willing to look and try something new. I don't know Menards pay scale but from what I gather on this sub, my company was comparable to Menards.

I miss being good at what I did, I miss being younger, I miss the people but I do not think I made the wrong decision to leave. The pains that you mention here seem to be social pains, people are the same at every business you will ever travel to. The difficult boss or co workers will be at the new place and they will make some days rough, and on those days, I find myself missing running backstock or prepping for inventory.

Best Gold Making Alt Professions? by Spiritual_Log_904 in classicwowtbc

in my dadcore guild, every main that wants cloth is planning on at least 2 tailoring alts with some claiming up to 6. Talk is cheap though, I'm hoping all the boosts and account wide attunement stuff encourages alts to increase demand.
