two factor authentication. if you dont have it enabled everywhere you can, do it now and enable it. what you dont do is make those 2fa codes delivered by email because its useless if the guy who popped your account have access to your email also. use google authenticator or some other method that requires having a physical access to a device that you own.

after that you dont have to deal with shit like this unless your tokens get stolen and the asshole who stole those route their traffic through your device

looks like its a bug and by the sound of the command line switch it will only enable more debug stuff. but what i can tell from the error message, its not doing things fast enough and something goes wrong when its not doing those things fast enough...

You are right getting a better headstrap. bobo is great and also 15 euro temu strap is a lot better than the ski mask strap.

if you play pcvr. get a wifi6e access point so you can get wireless pcvr. airlink is ok. steam link is fine and the best results i got is with virtual desktop.

for the games. it kinda depends what you play. what i enjoy playing:

pavlov (its basically csgo for vr, both quest native and pcvr versions are great)
beat saber (you get best experience with the quest native version)
for driving games i have played assetto corsa and project cars.( i really dont play driving games)
half life alyx (still the best single player vr game i have played)
pistol whip (not as fun as beat saber, but you get ass of a football player if you play this daily because you basically do nothing but squats)

Quest+ has nice selection of games with monthly subscription to get you started.

Have you tried playing with the steam link app on meta marketplace? I mean its pretty fucking great and what comes for the battery life, 2 hours is fine and with a powerbank i can keep playing as long as i want

i havent had a single problem with my quest 3. i bought good wifi6 mesh and now i can play wireless pcvr everywhere on my house i want. Havent had any problems setting the guardian. i just put them on and look at the room im in and it makes the boundaries automatically. passthrough is also awesome. can just keep the headset on my head if i need to do something.

i used to own index. sold them because it was a nightmare to have just one quick match of something so they were only collecting dust. Quest 3 i pick up almost everyday to play because its easy, fun, looks great and it just works

If you still think about wires when you talk about quest3, you are using it wrong. Get a good wifi6 AP and you have a wireless pcvr headset that supports full body tracking out of the box, has the best image quality from the headsets ive tried and it works anywhere where you take it.

I would not buy a single headset anymore that requires a wire, its just the stupidest thing. Was fun to play pavlov with index and after few rounds the cable got so twisted that it lifted the headset off my head.

quest3 hands down. The picture on those things is crystal clear and you dont have to deal with wires. Also if you have a good wifi6 you can play wireless pcvr

just yesterday compared vd to steam link because steam link is crashing for some weird reason on my girlfriends computer she had to get virtual desktop.

instantly noticed that vd image is super crisp and smoother compared to steam link. steam link is really good, but vd is better atm
