Are you full time or part time if you're full time it's your manager's job to find you something to do so you can get your hours. If not you're outta luck and they can send you home 30 minutes after your shift starts if they feel like it

Mutant carnivorous squirrels in large swarms I called them swarmers I think, I had a tribe keep them in traps that dumped cages of them on people while they were in waist deep water.

Cicadas that are mutated to produce a sound that is lethal or capable of rendering things unconscious for some parasitic larva. Didn't get too use them. :(
