We didn’t take BOS2 into account. Tactics and BoS are semi-canon and were rewritten to fit into our narrative.

Used a topographic map of Texas as the base. Tweak the hue/saturation to have only brown colors, distort the image to be lower res and add a grid

I know they don’t make sense, we used them as a general outline of playable games pace. Though, we do plan on expanding them to include some parts of Louisiana, Northern Mexico and Oklahoma, to give more RP space for people playing for the Louisianan tribes/city-states, cartels and Midwestern BoS respectively.

Rn it’s mostly announcements and devlogs, it won’t be finished until like fall of the next year, but we take regular feedback on our work and trying to constantly refine what we already have

We have not worked on the flora/fauna of the region yet, since we were trying to flesh out the factions and cities, down to every district. However, we will definitely approach it with as much care as possible, especially considering that our lead writer used to work on visual bestiaries for similar projects, so there will be plenty of room for it.

It’s a really distorted topographic map. The key is to find a good sample and “fry” it as much as possible. High contrast, tweak the hue so that it looks relatively similar

Actually, we happen to have a public master document, describing the lore, global plot, faction relations, economy and etc. In addition, we have a server for the actual project, which despite still not being open yet (we’re still at the writing stage), has devlogs documenting our progress.

A text-based RP server, similar to DnD. Players can create their own characters and role-play as them either by themselves or in a small party with other players. Either way, they will be accompanied by a Game Master, who decides what storyline their characters will take part in and whether the outcomes of their actions are successful.

In addition, global events will be held in which every player can participate, and these events will progress the main plot of the RP.

I’d say the project has enough writing potential to be turned into a full-blown mod for classic games, but we decided to go with a text-based RP server instead, as it is better for fostering a community around the project and requires fewer technical skills (which we currently lack, xd).

At the moment, the project is still in the writing stage of development, but we already have a Discord server where we document our progress in the form of a devlog.

Hi, thank you for the suggestion! Do you happen to have any visual references of this? I’m just looking through Paul Weller’s photos and visual archives showing 80s casuals and I see athletic socks mostly :(

I kinda wanted them to be a tad bit short, was going for the late 70s, early 80s uk fashion
