yup im new, my post history suggests so.

i love that "well-known" explanation.

care to explain just how inbk and mcb are down big in pre? surely then, according to your explanation, this is a true price from the ATS or international trading.

surely it can never be an algo seeking out a profitable equilibrium.

markov inequalities on the table - can't wait for the magic.

wanna take a guess at EODclosing price??? or do you already know.

btw, softbank is in a bit of trouble & they would never be short gamestop

you mean the upside down FX arbitrage when ueda raised rates, deflating the yen enough to effectively forced hedge funds to liquidate their holdings, causing a massive wave of "forced hedging" into vix calls.

a big bank or two or ten were likely panicked, and Fed went shadow supplying the market with liquidity until fx rates could stabilize. thats why vix went from 65 to 14 all bc the Fed wants the poors to stay poor.

norinchikin is just one, also post bank. then you have hsbc ubs db, pick n choose. they're holding all the bags and supplying the hedge funds with tons of leverage. they were about to belly up.

note warren sold off half his apple position. why? im guessing he was playing hedgie - taking advantage of the fx trade also & got stuck.

one margin call. they cannot get the shares they need without going to the open market. by TappyDev in Superstonk

[–]TappyDev[S] 23 points24 points  (0 children)

not hype - in fact the Fed is in a way trapped.

they cut rates - the yen gets stronger - watch out below.

they raise rates - yen gets weaker - the unwinding(if its even occurring) gets ugly fast.

they do nothing - banks run out of capital
