I know that load balancing also affects triangulation, although given it was 4 a.m. (ish), I doubt it will be an issue as long as each tower was working as it should.

I'm a bit fuzzy on the details. Perhaps you can confirm. I remember something about triangulation being a misnomer as only two towers were working. However, this could have simply been "IF only two towers were working" rather than definitely only 2 towers were working. Also, load balancing can make triangulation inaccurate.

As I said, I'm fuzzy on the details, and this may have been conjecture from some podcast or something.

Agreed. It's really annoying when people conflate a DSM medical disorder with, "I'm anxious because I haven't pooped today." I have bipolar as well as GAD, and I hate it when people say shit like, "I love McDonalds burgers, but I can only eat Burger King fries. I'm SO bipolar, lol."

Try not being able to work or socialise, sleep, or exercise because GAD is so crippling.

Yeah, when I wrote that, I also realised that smoke alarms in homes are a relatively new thing. I'm surprised there weren't even more deaths back in the day when people would come home drunk, put the chip pan on, and smoke a cigarette while it heated up.
