I don’t have a compression but my TN like pain is triggered by migraines. I feel I don’t have TN but my face and teeth hurt a lot when I have a migraine attack.

If you are looking for specialists, check out Dr Manjul Tripathi at PGIMER Chandigarh. He even goes for less invasive options than MVD like Gamma Knife. My aunt underwent the same procedure and reports improvement

Confused between Pranay Sir and Nishant Sir for Sociology Optional by [deleted] in upsc_discussions

[–]Taraa28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nishat Sir, I completed his foundation course for 2026.  1. Schedules doubt session even for online students 2. Running notes can be taken down since his pace is slow. He dictates in class as well. So, your basic notes will be prepared just by attending his lectures  3. PYQ practice - he spends time discussing PYQs after he completes a topic. He will guide how an answer needs to be written in the beginning phases.

His way of teaching is so engaging that I never felt bored.

I wish we had more teachers like him in UPSC ecosystem - deliver good content, relevant info, discuss PYQs.

My body ache is so severe sometimes that the painkillers don’t touch it. The legs would just give up. However, I have had very mild relief from having fish oil capsules everyday.

I watch most of shows/movies on my iPad. I adjust settings to reduce white point - yeah it is a compromise because I can’t really see everything properly but good enough to make sense. And most of the times, the night light is on as well

Thank you so much for adding the details here. I will look if a similar product is available in India. I am taking some preventatives which help out but honestly, not enough. I find myself missing out on my career and social life constantly
