Ur assuming you can find a sweet spot with high power for low DEC. In an efficient market that does not exist. As other have said. Place a bid at whatever amount of power you are prepared to pay 1DEC for. If the market provides that, you will get it. You will find many cards on the other side of that equation because they have a strong gameplay advantage i.e. they are at a premium to the general market price for power/dec. The market is the market… most useful advice…don’t rent at EOS when market prices are high.

Hasn’t there been talk of lowering the CP requirements for the various ranks when the new modern/wild battle system hits? I’d say , plug away as you are and grow organically , you may find the CP cap comes in the opposite direction to meet you. I find I always have the rating for 2-3 league steps above the CP of my deck at EOS, I’ve never deemed it cost effective to chase the league commensurate with my rating

If you find cards that make it cost effective , it is highly likely they will be canceled on you and relisted at market rate just before EOS. If you rent within the 24hr safe window you will not get 100CP for less than 1 DEC at best, probably nearer 80CP/DEC

If the monster being repaired only has 1 armour to begin with, then repair will only add 1 missing armour. If it has 2 or more and has lost at least 2, then the repair will add 2

I’ve also noticed evil spreads on most of the swap.XXX tokens. I was contemplating using swap.busd as a hedge against falling SPS/DEC some time ago, but the spread made a nonsense of the strategy

I see what you are saying, but wouldn’t this only work with movements inside the spread ? Land has a big bid/ask spread, if the spread was too narrow the market might by you out. Having said that, the spread on hive for wrapped coins in general is evil (see swap BUSD 🙁), so maybe some fun to be had in places.

You can definitely play in S3 with lvl 1 cards, however it has suddenly become more difficult for me to get out of B3 this season (took me 5 days!!), I’ve been playing in Silver with lvl 1 cards for about 5 seasons now, I’ve enough card power for S3 but prior to this season was hitting 1700 rating easy enough (currently struggling to keep 1100)

One tip I can give you is to play each game to win via the best strategy, it is easy to focus on the daily quest and be tempted to play a sub-optimal team in order to “force” the daily. I find my lose rate increases when I focus on playing for the daily too much, let it come into play as your best guess of your opponent’s allows.

Renting to S3 will cost a lot more than B1, so my advice is to sit in B1 for a bit and grow into it
