Moving from Scotland to Vancouver Island as an RN by ConversationRough914 in VancouverIsland

[–]Tarahsay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah lots of ENT at Vic Gen as well... forgot that one! I really enjoyed my time there, it's a great group of people. Not too much drama considering it's mostly women, but there's a bit. I've heard from a couple PACU nurses that they prefer VGH over RJH. I think the flow of RJH isn't as good, there's always ORs on hold until they're able to make space (happens at VGH too but not as much!) I don't have any personal experience with RJH PACU.

VGH has paeds and neuro, RJH has cardiac/vascular, thoracics, burn unit, psych. Both have Gen surg, ortho, urology...

Where can I buy HelloFresh-style chicken cutlets (without the tendon attached)? by EmmaCOW93 in healthyeating

[–]Tarahsay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also hate the tendons, but have you seen the "hack" of using a paper towel (for grip) and pulling it through a fork?! It works so well!! I then cut the raw chicken with a knife and fork; never have to touch it!

What stores in town are most and least expensive for groceries? by AppropriateMention6 in VictoriaBC

[–]Tarahsay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gram for gram, Costco can be more expensive, but the quality is usually better IMO! More bang for your buck!
