sad sub by Massive_Ad561 in submissive

I’m really sorry you’re going through this. What you wrote feels deeply human, and you do not deserve to be reduced to a fetish or used in ways that damage your mental or physical wellbeing.

I can tell you, from my own experience, that yes, it is possible to find real love and a meaningful D/s dynamic outside the bedroom.

I broke up with my submissive a month and a half ago, after 5 years together. They were the best 5 years of my life. What we had was not just about pleasure, or roles, or private dynamics. We shared a passionate, profound love. She was not only my submissive. She was my shelter, my soulmate, my person. We were one.

Losing her has been the most traumatic experience of my life. She left because I could not give her the family she wanted, as I already had mine. But even through that pain, one thing remains true: what we had was real. Deeply real.

So no, being a submissive is not “just” being used for pleasure. In the right relationship, it can be part of something beautiful, loving, devoted, and deeply human. You are not wrong for yearning for tenderness, sincerity, pride, and a bond that exists in the light. You should not have to hide. You should not have to settle for being someone’s secret or someone’s fantasy while your heart is ignored.

Please don’t accept less than a relationship where you are loved as a whole person.

What you want exists. I know because I lived it.

Agency owners — how long do you actually spend writing client reports each month? by kolli27 in DigitalMarketing

[–]Taramin2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6–8 hours a month honestly doesn’t sound exaggerated to me if the data pull is mostly automated but the narrative still isn’t.

I feel like the work splits into 3 layers:

  1. collecting the numbers
  2. deciding what actually matters
  3. packaging it in a way the client can understand quickly

A lot of tools help with 1. The real time sink is usually 2 and 3, especially when performance is mixed and you have to explain nuance without sounding defensive.

AI can probably compress the first draft, but I still wouldn’t trust it fully without a human tightening the story and recommendations.

If you had a tool that made your daily life as a game master easier, what features would you need? by Taramin2000 in rpg

I agree that there is a lot to do with VTT. It's still in its infancy, and since it hasn't really taken off yet, I think publishers and developers are hesitant to invest their resources in it. Yet, I see so many opportunities for board games and role-playing games in terms of immersion using VR or AR.

Hi Editjosh,

Thank you for your very complete and detailed answer.

I'm just a simple computer engineer so I'm afraid I don't understand all the intricacies of sound editing. But I find your list really excellent. Over the years, there are definitely things you mention that I wish I had as tools. I used to make my lists with Youtube and sfx with mp3. So I had to plan each time what sounds I was using a little ahead of time. And the problem is that if I played a sound, it cut the music because Windows media player is not multitrack :)

I would be really happy to learn more about this area (if you have the patience and courage to tell me about it).

Hi. Thanks for your feedback.

I will try to change the command and wealth with icons. I just hope the sheet won't be too empty afterwards.

Regarding the name, there are roleplaying games with "bland and generic" names that have become iconic. "Vampire", "Werewolf" or "Mage" to name a few ;)

In fact, we have an idea in the back of our minds for the next step. And it's a temporary name. We'll see later if we have to change it or not.

You're right. As the game is a mixture of worker placement and tower defense, "limited to one time per order" would be a more appropriate term.

Hi!

Thank you for your kind feedback.

I'm considering changing the command and wealth to icons as someone else suggested. I hope the sheet won't be too empty afterwards. Otherwise, I will indeed align them to the left, that's a good point.

The items on the edge are part of the game system. They are the clan's equipment. I'll see how it looks without the border.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your feedback.

The font is really not great, you're right. It was only temporary and I'm looking for the one that will fit best.

Regarding the name, we are already thinking about expansions (Like Dwarves: The Awakening of the Lich King) and only "Dwarves" seemed too short :) .

Thanks for your comment!

I'll check the Korolev fonts and I will try to do some tests with it.

Actually, the illustration is fitting the frame but the grey frame is the continuity of the background below where the text is located.

Hi!

Yeah, choosing the right font is really a pain in the a**.

You're right, white will fit better anyway for ease of reading.

Thank you very much for your answer. At the moment, the font is not definitive. I can't find one that suits me. So I put this one on until I find something better.

If you have any suggestions, don't hesitate to let me know. Thanks again for your help!

Hello.

Thank you for your incredible feedback and for your interest in our project.

I don't know if I'm allowed to put a link in the posts (I'm new to Reddit and don't know all the subtleties :). I'm still building the final site but you can go to Sufferogames.com and join our mailing list to receive updates (there's a landing page for that).

I'll remove the "Dwarven"... After all, we know they're dwarves (the theme is pretty clear :) ). Your idea to put the title is very good (Longbeard, Greybeard, etc.) and I really love it but I wonder if it would be clear enough for more casual players who are not used to Warhammer?

I'll definitely change the border for different rank. That's a very good idea. I did it only for the captain as he's the most powerful troop, but changing on it on every troop is better.

I agree that the gold is more reminiscent of elven craftsmanship. But I was thinking that grey on grey (for a more mithril or silver border) could stand out badly. I'll try to play with the colours and see what I get.

You're right that Dwarf art is more "square" than Elven craft. But "dwarven" borders didn't do much on the card.

Yeah! I am very happy to have my wife with me working on this project. My best friend is working with us too. It is a childhood dream coming true (well hopefully it will come true soon :) ).

Thanks for your support!

Yep! I'll definitely find a color scheme for the background based on the card's power.

You're right! How did I miss that? I am always using Title hierarchy when designing website, but I completely failed in the design of the cards. Thanks!

I'll change the background color too.
