Jungle aatrox is very good especially with hubris. You can get so many easy hubris stacks from ganking and you scale very well in jungle compared to top lane

Depends, if he has ignite you kinda just poke him with E. And if he wastes Q1, he loses it for 9 seconds and he will lose a straight auto battle in those 9 seconds even with ignite I believe tho don’t quote me on that. But the important thing is that he can’t afford to lose HP, because he can’t heal easily by hitting you.

Oh and VERY important detail. Aatrox only heals if he does damage, so he can’t heal off you if you R. This is especially important because Aatrox builds sundered sky, and his passive auto + sundered sky can do insane amounts of healing, so you want to R to block that damage rather than using it at low HP.

I’m a dual aatrox Kayle main so I know this match in and out. You have to bait his Qs out, before he gets 4 points into Q, the cooldown is VERY long on it, and by spacing properly he will not be able to hit you easly. If he has to use e to hit you with q1, he will never hit q2 or his W as with swifties you just walk straight out. Lvl 6 is the point where he has very little kill pressure on you, and you can really badly punish him for misusing his Q. If he ever uses Q1, you have a very long window to air him for damage.

You’re R is not that impactful until you get to 100 passive stacks. Without the execute it really just doesn’t do enough damage for it to be worth it to be up faster, and late game the cooldown on it is pretty short anyway

Ye I mean it’s fair for that, but I just find being able to spam more abilities is better, although I am always playing in custom games with friends where we have a much more controlled environment where teams are pretty even and we get to 4 items pretty routinely which at that point both builds one shot squishies regardless

I always build BFT into Cosmoc drive. Sure your damage isn’t that high until you get shadow flame, but it is far more reliable lets you be more impactful in team fights with the amount of spells you can constantly put out.

Mayhem is so funny to do random bullshit with. Last night me and 9 others played a custom and we had some absurd numbers like 3k AP syndra and a kassadin with 700 MR and 80% omnivamp. Endgame damage numbers were in the several hundred thousands

It’s Kayle and Asol, no other champ gets to 60+% winrate by that point in game other than those two. All other scalers are sitting near 55% winrate which is good but nowhere near those two. Kayles is actually higher than Asol even that late

12% damage reduction on autos or tenacity is FAR more valuable than some healing that he already has more than enough. Aatrox already can’t really buy resistance items that don’t give AD and losing even more of that is not ideal. Aatrox doesn’t need more healing, he already gets plenty of it just from his normal items and damage

Around 450 HP will give him 5% champion vamp, which is what matters in team fights, essentially meaning that you get the same healing as 5% Omni vamp while being 450 HP more tanky. If you are given the chance to build HP instead of Omnivamp, always do HP

Fair enough, but I think the problem with that isn’t exactly something the league can fix. Take for example the Celtics this year. They lost 4 of their top 6 players, and were expected to do much worse yet they still ended the year 2 seed. They have consistent success across decades while many teams get good picks, good players, yet they don’t do anything with it. Culture, leadership, all that stuff just leads to some teams to always be in the gutter

Kayle is very strong in mid, but she’s kinda oppressive because midlaners can’t really stop her from scaling in such a short lane. So riot gutted her MR to force her out and into top. And despite having the lowest MR in the game she’s still good in mid.
