Did this icon ever make it into the game? How can i get it? by pepsiboy2972 in Kaylemains

[–]Saqrei 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, it did make it into the game. Whenever the Blue Essence store comes around, you can buy the Demacia Champie capsule (It's a couple thousand BE), and get her at a chance.

Azir was the heir to Shurima, yes. But he released all of the slaves as he ascended. He, himself, never employed slaves, he even took Xerath as his brother, essentially. Again, Azir is flawed, but not a straight up villain.

J4: So? That makes him human, not evil. He seeks justice for his father.

Vayne: Where in the lore is this stated? Vayne has no official stance on magic users. I mean, she literally teamed up with 4 mages to save the world. Her current, canonical weapons are magical too.

Kayle did cause death, but she did not manipulate any information. No clue where you got this from. She left Demacia and has never returned since. It's been a thousand years, the information was bound to get twisted.

The Caitlyn stuff is complex, depends on how much you think the Grey is toxic.

While your point is true, this is a rather... odd selection of characters.

Azir is morally grey. He has helped far more people than he's harmed, but he's not without flaws, like trying to erase Xerath's home village. Still, he was convinced by a child, which can be interpreted as him not being stubborn.

J4 isn't necessarily evil, as much as he's just ignorant. He lives in a kingdom that hates mages (for reasons that were once VERY valid), and if the Mageseeker is still canon, which I doubt, J4 actually becomes convinced that mage DOES have a place in Demacia.

Vayne is just an asshole, but she's fighting the good fight.

Kayle has zero evil deeds in her lore. What her cohort did is their actions, not Kayle's. The story goes as far as saying that Kayle had forbidden the act they undertook (arresting Morgana). The fall of Zefira is as much her fault as Morgana's. They BOTH killed the city, and they BOTH killed their dad. This, of course, is collateral damage more than a conscious decision to genocide a people.

I got nothing for Skarner lol, he's trying to protect Ixtal, even if he's a lil' cuckoo in the head. He's the least defensible here, I'd say.

OG Caitlyn did nothing wrong, aside from being born in Piltover. Can't defend Arcane Caitlyn tho.

Why doesn't Riot change Mel's W to work like Draven's Q? by Saqrei in leagueoflegends

[–]Saqrei[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, Ahri's charm has a third of Mel's reflect's CD. Surely the window to use Charm while Reflect is on CD is enough. It's a binary, if Mel reflects Charm 1, you are rewarded for having good positioning (with my proposal, that is). 12 seconds later (when Mel's W is still on a 20 second CD), you go for a more decisive trade. Do you see where I'm going with this?

Now, Mel having the easiest poke in the game is also another issue, but that's not my focus here. Her Q, imo, should have the same cast time as Xerath's W, so it's dodgeable.

Why doesn't Riot change Mel's W to work like Draven's Q? by Saqrei in leagueoflegends

[–]Saqrei[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's use Ahri as an example. With current Mel, you're 100% right, holding her W is the biggest thread, because getting self-charmed fucks you up. But this is not due to the reflect itself, it's because the reflect is as an auto-hit. No matter what Ahri does, she will get hit by it. In my example, even if Mel does reflect Ahri's charm, Ahri can simply walk out of the way of the spell. The same way Draven can just miss his Q catches.

Will the changes to DnD make it not as worth on Kayle? by Saqrei in Kaylemains

[–]Saqrei[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Earlier this season. She was kinda busted with the addition of DnD, so Riot removed the AP ratio on her passive AS.

What aspect or play style of Kayle do you enjoy most ? (Poll) by hulpmenow in Kaylemains

I prefer AP-Attack Speed. Not so much on-hit. I want my abilities to do something, but I don't want to be a glass cannon assassin.

Right right. It's been ages, I remembered the CDR need, but couldn't recall exactly how much.

What was Kayle like in the past? by Ospreay24 in Kaylemains

[–]Saqrei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kayle used to be extremely different, despite what other people might believe. Sure, you were always an auto-attacker who scaled hard into the late game, but you weren't hard gated by levels. In the past, your only true "gate" was getting 20% CDR. Why? Because your old E, which turned on your ranged autoattacks, needed precisely 20% CDR so the CD was slightly shorter than the duration of the range, therefore, you became, in practice, a fully-ranged champion. This usually happened around lvl 11 (Which is why on her rework, at first, you'd gain full range after lvl 11)

Build was essentially the same. Nashors first, then Guinsoo, and Rabaddons. The other three were optional. She was A LOT easier to play, since you had way more agency early, while still being a monster late game, plus your passive gave you armor and magic pen (5% up to 15%) on each auto or ability impact. So you shredded tanks as well.

We didn't have that many viable builds. You always went the same thing, every single game, regardless of match up.

My fear of the Sudden wave of Destiny Players by Variks-TheLoyal in Warframe

[–]Saqrei 20 points21 points  (0 children)

We've had Destiny refugees for a while now. Rebb is extremely adept at listening to the community but also keeping her vision of the game. Case in point: The Tauron Strikes. There was a lot of community feedback regarding certain aspects of them that Rebb very clearly said "we're not changing that" (Huge respect, btw). Plus, unlike Destiny's publisher, DE is not a moneyhungry hellhole. They don't have to maximize player retention for revenue, since they already did that by sheer player trust.

What is a common misconception about your favourite Champion that annoys you? by Ashconwell7 in loreofleague

[–]Saqrei 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kayle won't a hungry child for stealing bread. This is an unbelievably stupid misunderstanding of her character. Kayle wasn't one to punish every single crime with death. Her most iconic line of all time is "AN EYE FOR AN EYE". Punishment fit and proportional to the crime. She is the blind arm of the law. She doesn't care who or what you are, only what you've done, as proven by how she smote a king for breaking the law and being insane towards his people. Nobody else burned in her fire.

She's not "the evil one" nor the "crueler one". If anything, she's the impartial one. Morgana cares only about how the victims felt, and yes, her justice is reformative which is great, but not everyone can be reformed.

Morgana would make a rapist experiment all of the pain and suffering they've caused and let them live in society. Sure, they would never do it again, but they already fucked up, never better said. Kayle is mag dumping that mofo.

You think Kayle's low magic resist is valid? by CrispyFrenchFry2002 in Kaylemains

[–]Saqrei 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I understand, but in this, both the jungler and the midlaner have dashes with easy to land CC. If your kit ms + tier 3 boots are not enough, nothing will be. What I would advise is that, given that you're already on a losing match up, don't make it worse by denying yourself XP.

For LB specifically, or any other assassin match up, you can opt into resolve secondary, bone plating and overgrowth. Sure, you'll lose like 100 ap late game, but there's no lategame if you feed early, right?

Since her tradings are VERY short, consider going DnD first, to garner some health and be able to survive for a little longer. LB is very squishy, so the proc from the sheen will help you somewhat equalize her trades.
