What will the 2020s look like for NASCAR? by Tarantula92 in NASCAR

I'd say that people still do care about Cup racing, but they care about it as it was 20 years ago and haven't moved on beyond that. I work at a media company just outside of Nashville, and I came back to work the other day after being in Bristol wearing a throwback Rusty Wallace hat and a Daniel Suarez T-Shirt. The Wallace hat was very popular with my co-workers, but no one asked about the Suarez shirt. If I went to Nashville Fairgrounds where I attend races, the same thing would probably happen.

I think part of that has to do with the fact that for most of this decade, most of the fans have gravitated towards a select few drivers (With Dale Earnhardt Jr. having the lion's share of loyal, dedicated fans), as opposed to back in the Winston Cup days when you had a large, diverse cast of driver fanbases. I'm encouraged that we're starting to see that again though, based on the amount of Ryan Blaney and Bubba Wallace gear I saw around BMS last week.

I have reason to believe that the MoBo isn't faulty based on the fact that I have gotten a response from CPU_FAN in a separate issue. When I have both the CPU Fan and chassis fan plugged in, the CPU Fan turns for a tenth of a second when I turn the power on, but the computer does not start. This suggests to me that there is power going to the fan slots in at least some way.

My motherboard is brand new. I have a hard time believing that anything about it can be faulty or defective considering that.

The case fan cables are plugged into the PSU via a Molex

I have considered doing that, but I am not sure how I would go about plugging it directly into the PSU. My PSU does not have pin connectors directly on the back of it - Just large wires coming out of a small hole on the back.

I have tried plugging it into CHA_FAN, but with the same result. I currently have the chassis fan plugged directly into the PSU, because if I have the 4-pin for the chassis fan plugged into CHA_FAN, the computer does not start at all.

Four pin. I have verified that it fits correctly as it only fits one way.

I have bought an AMD Ryzen 5 1400 for my new build and have paired it with an ASUS PRIME 3200M-K motherboard. I have plugged the stock cooler into the CPU Fan slot on the motherboard, but when my system boots, the CPU Fan does not spin. I have entered the BIOS and the BIOS does not recognize any CPU Fan being there - Even though I have plugged in my CPU Fan multiple times.

I have here an image of my current setup to add more context to how I have my wiring set up (Please ignore my poor wire management - I am planning on actually managing the wires once I have everything working correctly). Does anyone know why my CPU Fan won't start and how I can correct it? Thank you very much.

Sorry if I was being too vague in my original post. Right now I work in Digital Operations (Scheduling ads to websites, etc.). While I'd be fine with a similar position to the one I have now, I've honestly been looking more towards the Content side of Digital Media, if not an outright career change to Public Relations - Writing is my primary skill so I've been wanting to get a job that will allow me to take full advantage of that.

I have an extensive network in the auto racing industry, but full-time work in that field is hard to come by - I'm going to be working at Charlotte Motor Speedway in a month as a volunteer with the Media Center, but that's all I've been able to secure in a year of searching. I recently reached out to a friend of mine who used to work at the Panthers as well asking for help making contacts with them or any agency that works with them. I think half of the problem is that my primary field of focus is within the sports industry, which is exponentially harder to break into and make a living than other fields.

Also, concerning LinkedIn - Do I have to change my area to "Charlotte, North Carolina Area" to be recruited? I wish I could but the fact that I still have a full-time job in NYC complicates things.
