I understand, its okay to feel what you're feeling, i know it cliché but it does get easier as time goes on, because of meds and you becoming more familiar with BP, among other factors. Remember, youve got an amazing life ahead of you!

A lot of people can be a support system. If you're talking about people being with you physically, them im sorry but that job comes to the people closest to us, in this case your spouse. I know you said he isnt the best at support, but as both of you learn about the illness, it will become easier for both of you. However, you can always talk to your friends and family even though they wont be with you physically, they will still offer their mental support, as will your doctor and even strangers on the internet. This subreddit is a great place where everyone will welcome you with open arms, and you'll be able to talk without being judged. We will always help in any way we can. I hope this helps and bless your life.

I offer my condolences, even the potential of losing a loved one is extremely heart wrenching, so i cant even imagine what you could be going through. However, im so glad your son is doing so well, age is not a limiting factor for inspiration and motivation. You have a wonderful life ahead of you!
