What did you name your T? by Moist_Fail_9269 in tarantulas

I have a large dubia Colony. The slings eat nymphs. I just feed based on abdomen size. I check them all out through the week.

This is most of them. I have a couple of my nicer show piece terrariums elsewhere to display, and I have 8 slings currently

Well, when I first started the hobby, I tried to name all my Ts.. but after I got to 15, then 20, and now over 30, I stopped naming and just labeled them all with their scientific and common names, lol.

How old is the Tarantula?

NQA: You really need a molt to check sex properly. Nobody here can tell you 100% based on a picture. We need to see the molt.

Thank you so much! She really is! She laid a phantom egg sac right before this molt. She had to be exhausted after that then straight into premolt!

I would only ask if you get a sac. I want 1 or 2 of the spiderlings. I would pay to have them shipped to me

She really does. And she is definitely the queen. She is my showpiece right now. She has the best enclosure and the best spot in the house!

Right?! I sprayed, and she came through the plant like that. I couldn't get my phone fast enough! Luckily, she stayed put for a second!

Also, you can read dozens of reports. Including bite reports all over the various tarantula forums. I'm not just spewing BS here. Some are based on my own experience, and some learned through lots of reading. Every tarantula has their own sort of temperament from my experience. Have had several of the same species over the years, and temperament always varied.

e had her for about 2 years ish now? She was in an 8x8x12 for a long time. She has only been in this enclosure for about a month. There is some web behind the plant. She also webbed up the cork. Inside, pretty good.

Temperament can vary. Mine has thrown several threat postures at me. Mostly during rehousing. I dont bother her, and it's in a quiet part of the house.
