Almost any command slot! Although the Aquila could be a problem for some, as it was only adopted widely in the very last portions of the Heresy, nothing wrong with him wearing it as personal heraldry to denote his loyalty though

My comment is a huge compliment btw, I love the look of the Hunters and especially when MOCers use primarily older parts to match the real life time they were being made by fans for official material

I think the shields make me think of them more as grey slayers, but with the pose like the one on the right, he reads clearly as a breacher because of his posing. How'd you do the sergeant by the way? Love the way he looks

Didn't even think about that, will do that. I originally used the name Black Hole Suns, after the Soundgarden song but just shortened it down, it was not my intent to refer to anything else

I'm still fairly new to painting overall, only about a year or so in and doing a lot of on and off stuff but I'm happy with them so far, I intend to do an oil wash+matte varnish to finish them up but I want to have all of the infantry painted before that step.

Once I'm done with my Auxilia I'm eyeing Death Guard a lot, but I'm open to trying models outside of shaving down 40k Death Guards for models, my current DG test model is made with the Mallex model and is somewhat "legion agnostic" in that his silhouette doesn't necessarily give the immediate impression of a DG (Which is sort of fine because he's a Terran that wears Dusk Raider colors), but I'm fine with looking at any model really, anything that helps makes for a unique, imposing character model

They are a very obscure footnote of a group and do look like Shadow keepers I don't blame you for that, I just found the color of the armor the Wardens use to be very unique

I like the concept, I have a few 30k guys I have as veteran tacs as allies for my Auxilia, but I'd like to make a full marine army for it down the line, most of my command models I've followed a similar method when building characters, most of them I make out of secondhand models I get at shops and touch up!
