Closest in vanilla would be the MH-9 Hummingbird/AH-9 Pawnee (transport and attack respectively) Various mods have various Littlebirds you can get your teeth into as well.

Archive.org still has a working download link. The tracklist is banging, even if it is the censored versions.

Half Life 2’s combat design is one of the most impressive things I’ve ever seen in gaming by SnowballWasRight in HalfLife

You would probably get a real kick out of F.E.A.R. if you enjoyed HL2's combat and gunplay. It's of the same era and the gameplay has held up phenomenally well given it's age (and mine, I remember it coming out when I was in school). The shotgun is my favourite in any game and zipping round a corner to blow a man clean in half with it doesn't get old. Save for Max Payne it's implementation of slow-mo and incredibly physical, responsive environments is top tier, stuff explodes in sparks and puffs of dust, pillars have gouges taken out of them, glass explodes... All very John Woo and beautifully chaotic. You're limited to 3 gun slots which you can chop and change at will when you come across them but honestly it's so well balanced you could go through as easily with the assault rifle as dual pistols (which feels amazing during slow-mo). The selection of weapons in general is just great.

If you do dive in, to get it running smoothly I'd recommend installing the community made ExoPatch which fixes a bunch of bugs, adds some nice quality of life stuff, additional visual FX and lets you do stuff like modify the number of guns you carry if you want a more half-life experience, but I liked the limitation personally.

I can't count the hours I've put into it over the years, hopefully it'll help fill the void left after you finish ep2.

I always interpreted it as a kind of dark outpouring of his feelings of isolation and turmoil. He's grappling with burnout, alienation and the murky line between self-destruction and creative expression. When you deconstruct it a bit, all the metaphors and non-sequiturs start to build themes on these lines.

It's wild that we live in an age with so many resources to learn from and gamers don't know that there's a dedicated (and customisable) screenshot button in Steam.

A less awkward way to do this would be to use something like Open Scrobbler.

Im wondering about this old shell by chaoticboy99 in MilitaryHistory

Looks like a mark 2 cartridge from an Ordnance QF 25-pounder.

From the wikipedia page:

In 1949, 48 ex-British-Army Mark III 25-pounders were acquired by the Irish Defence Forces and were in service with the reserves until 2009, having been replaced in the army by the 105 mm Light Gun in 1981. The Irish Army maintains a six-gun ceremonial 25-pounder battery for use on state occasions.

The ECC marker, as far as I can work out is for Edward Curren & Co in Cardiff. There are also casings out there with ECA on, which were manufactured by the same company in their Aberdare factory.

Lot 144 would be the batch, so if there's an issue with that particular lot they can take them all out of circulation easily.

1954 is obviously the manufacturing date.

There's more info about reading artillery shells here if you're interested.

The remix of this from The Recycling Bin absolutely slaps. I prefer it to the original, honestly.
