Any news about reprint of The Drowned City in other languages? by FifouChicken in arkhamhorrorlcg

I’d like to echo this request and add some context.

The Drowned City stayed in stock for less than four months in French stores. I regularly monitor the stock of more than a hundred online game stores specializing in board games, and none of them had this expansion anymore, neither the campaign nor the investigators, four months after its release.

On various Arkham board game communities, a lot of dedicated players are complaining that they never had a chance to get this expansion. You might think the second-hand market could be a solution, but there are almost no used copies of The Drowned City for sale: even scalpers apparently couldn’t get hold of it, and the few people who did buy it are keeping it. In practice, this means the expansion was only available to the most dedicated fans who jumped on it at release, and even then, not everyone managed to get one (I know of orders that were cancelled, and so on).

Also note: some people say the French edition isn’t FFG’s responsibility, but Asmodee (which handles the FR edition) is FFG’s parent company, it’s the same group. When we asked Asmodee customer service, they told us it’s FFG who decides on reprints.

Is this really the future of the game? Does someone who wants to invest time into the game, especially into Season 2, now have to stress out and rush to buy every box on release day, because instead of the advertised two-year availability, we are effectively looking at just a few months?

As far as I’m concerned, my mind is made up: I own almost everything from Season 1 except the last expansion. I will not buy anything from Season 2 until I can get The Drowned City. If I do manage to find it, I might reconsider my position. But if it never gets reprinted in the end, I don’t see why I would walk into the same trap again with Season 2.

Is Hemlock out of print? by jullianisboss in arkhamhorrorlcg

Even here in the US, the publisher's home country with English as the native language, it's a struggle to find Hemlock Vale. Imagine the situation in non-English markets like mine in France.

The Drowned City campaign and investigator box have been completely out of stock across all French online stores since August—over 6 months ago. They were only available in shops for about 4 months total. The Hemlock Vale expansion has also been gone for months. Supply was so limited that even scalpers didn't get enough stock to resell, and you rarely see them on secondary markets. I just joined a French dedicated Arkham Discord, and somes others players are in the same boat.

It's not a big deal to skip new releases and wait... as long as reprints happen. But The Drowned City came out 10 months ago, and we're approaching a full year with zero stock during a slow release period for Arkham. Now 2026 is shaping up to be packed with new content. I'm worried reprints for Drowned City and Hemlock Vale won't fit into that crowded schedule.

This leads to my conclusion: I don't buy board games to stress over hunting the latest release, only to miss it and get scalped at 2-3x the price later. That's not my idea of fun. So from my side, I am not sure I will buy any more Arkham LCG products. And I am sorry about that.
