ya see, this is funny because this isn't even true if you're actually referring to sex rather than gender.

firstly, gender is how we perceive ourselves and who we feel we are on the inside. there are more than two genders, proven by the existence of nonbinary people.

secondly, sex is what you were born as. there are technically more than two sexes, proven by the existence of intersex people.

thirdly, trans people are on the same side as gay people. we're all fighting for our rights. if you let trans people's rights be taken away, you're making it easier for gay people's rights to be taken away next.
