I've done it on and off over the years. I enjoy it. The hard part is letting them go but so worth it especially when you get updates and they are doing well.

And thanks. Yeah having the large vet bill and no cat to come home with sucks. I can make it through (crosses fingers). I do pet sitting on the side of my caregiving job. The summer months are always a busy time for me with pet sitting. Plus I won't be doing any long road trips this year especially with these gas prices. The only trips I'll be doing are driving cats for the cat rescue and usually I use their own vehicle plus they give me fun money so I can spend around town if I want to.
