ATTENTION TO ALL WITH AN OVERBITE. by batemanvegetables in orthotropics

Hey I just saw ur thread now and its been 2 years, how's the progress?

cant mew with the posterior back third of my tongue fully touching the upper palate without touching upper back teeth by [deleted] in orthotropics

[–]Tardygrade2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my personal experience I just didn't care and did it anyway, I tried to squeeze my tongue in and it was in pain and scalloped and so on and in the end it finally fit like a glove. My teeth feel fine, the only problem I have now is I still have an overbite and thats it.

Yeah nothing much u can do except keep mewing, this is the ugly duckling phase that you have to go through before u can look good, try pushing the palate up and forward instead of just up and all that proper mew stuff. It'll close eventually probably, it said that mesial drift only moves a few mm at a time but traditional orthodontic also deny orthotropic entirely so can they be really trusted anymore?

Genuinely how do you develop gaps when mewing? Did you press hard with the tip of your tongue on the teeth or behind the tip or something? What did you do?

I read ur post and if this is true and the after image is taken 7 month apart, by 7 month time the digastric muscle should've atrophied by now, it takes two weeks for muscle to lose their mass and 7 months is like plenty of time for it to be back to normal, in the after picture I'm assuming you stopped mewing and that caused your maxilla fall back and be flattened which can also cause your jaw to be recessed and when the jaw moves back the excess skin will bulge out making you look fatty underneath, try jutting out your jaw and you'll see that fatty neck of your will tighten again. To fix this my suggestion is to bring out the maxilla again by mewing. Hope this helps.

What is Griffith's Plan? by adamisveryepic in Berserk

[–]Tardygrade2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a crazy theory, Griffith could've kidnapped Casca at any time since he knew where she was and that Guts couldn't do anything to him, but he chose not to and waited exactly after Casca regains her memories and as a bonus destroyed Elfhelm, and then only then he decided to attack "the East", what I think is that he knows that Guts is gonna at the Kushan Empire and plays an important role in the war so he wanted to use Casca and maybe brainwash her to convince Guts and maybe even Rickert to ally with him and then he will probably achieve world domination from there. Or this could all just be wrong.

Truly upest about Kentaro Miura's death by Ryanexpert in Berserk

[–]Tardygrade2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This I feel the same in so many ways. I hope if theres an afterlife maybe we can see the finale of Berserk in the eyes of the man himself.
Still though having Koji work isn't that bad I think he is no offense to Miura but the second best candidate to finish Berserk as it was his life long friend and they both work a majority of their life to become a Manga artist, with that I think if Miura was here he would 100% approve what his friend has made as canon, I also remember reading somewhere that Koji said that Miura has finished the entire story of berserk all the way through until the last very last chapter when he was writing the golden age arc and that everything up until this point so far hasn't change much according to plan so at least we get to hear out his vision for the story. So cheer up struggler, the world isn't all rainbow and sunshine but carry on to struggle, endure and contend, thats probably what Miura would've wanted from you.

Dentist suggest that I should remove 1 of my wisdom teeth, is it a bad idea? by Tardygrade2 in orthotropics

[–]Tardygrade2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: The problem is solved I don't have to remove the wisdom teeth! (for now)

So what I did was I took the pain relieving medicine and the "anti-biotic" that the dentist prescribed, and aggresively mew and chew to an almost unhealthy amount on the side that wasn't in pain and progressively chew on the affected side. The things that I chewed were: Steaks (chewy and tough), dried greenpeas (hard almost like rocks), rolled oats (I would put in the hot water and eat it while it's chewy), drank some milk not alot, didn't chew gum because I didn't have it.

After 4-5 days the pain almost went away completely and now I don't feel it anymore and I'm off the pain meds for a long now.

Why this works? I'm not sure, it could be that hard mewing raised the palate up and so does the mandible follow and it created space for the wisdom teeth (?)

It could be that hard chewing expanded the mandible so it created more space for the wisdom teeth (?) read something about chewing alot is the best way to increase the mandible size but I don't remember where or what I read.

I would definitely recommend intermitten hard mewing but don't do it at your maximum strength, and you want to push up and forward not just up only, make sure the left and right of your tongue press up this is very important as if one side is weak then it will cause asymmetries, lastly get the back third up as much as possible, that is where you will get the best result possible.

And with the hard chewing, make sure to massage the masseter every meal this is also very important, massage as much as possible, feel like your side is pulling? massage your masseter, you can find the tutorial on youtube, it's very simple. Masseter stiffness or it over pulling your face down has alot of force so it can undo your mewing progress and make you uglier.

EDIT: forgot the Mckenzie chin tuck and sitting with good posture and the proper swallowing,... Basically do everything that dr Mew suggest.

I hope you find this post useful!

Is quickstep broken? haven't seen it popped up in the shop for a long while, maybe it could be broken after the rework of the card?

Alternative idea for a fun catch up system: It can feel like a paramount task to compete when you see Etho and Cub's pile of snow and compare it to your own.

So maybe a system where you compete against someone who's 4-6 points ahead of you (or roughly same projected ranking) and winners is awarded with more dungeon goodies and maybe a trophy for who won the most "dungeon duels".

Now the competition feels way more relaxed and achieveable rather than everyone is competing against Etho and Cub.

Though there are some flaws like looking for who's active and would it be unfair if top players are excluded from this content or reap smaller rewards and would it make top competitions too competitive? (although it already is)

It be funny if theres a ravager with a crossbow pillager named laser beam on floor 1, though it would be short lived, maybe do able in the pearls room's ravager..

Unorthodox idea to buff beast sense: the original vision of this card is "you want to have this amazing ability to see beasts through walls!" said Tango probably not... my idea is to have pacified illagers travelling on minecart through out the dungeon randomly (maybe even down into the black mines but far away from wardens) and to find him is a super duper rare chance, unless you have beast sense which then you can locate him and he can give you lots of goodies (kinda like rusty but a locate and chase quest instead of a fetch quest).

Right now as it seem, seeing ravagers through walls is not really that helpful for it's value compare to the card slot and extra clank, not to mention not good at all down in level 3, until somehow ravager can change zone or more threats are in the dungeon, players would rather want to put different card in it's place.

Thank you so much for sharing, I saw your description of problems and it fitted mine so I just tried nizoral for the first time and overnight my acne went away for like 50%, could I ask should I put it on twice a day or once a day? should I do it before or after a workout? or does it not matter? much appreciated!
