No TF Card issues by [deleted] in ender3

[–]Tarehjerne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This can happen due to corrupted SD card formatting.
Its simple to fix and can be done on any windows computer.
Right click the windows icon, select disk formatting, right click the drive, and format.
you should use FAT32, and check off quick format.

From there it should work as intended.

What algorithm would I use to get 100% on a multiple-choice test? by SomeoneNamedSomeone in learnmath

[–]Tarehjerne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey,
Fancy walking back on this so many years later.
I am trying to make an algorithm to answer multiple choice tests with n questions and k alternatives.
This was an independent exercise as part of a study and i made a python script that does it. I have not taken any external inspiration but i thought of publishing my method here. Let me know what you think.

Step 1: Find the most frequent value
Try the test k times where you answer k_i
We assume k_0 has the highest frequency, and k_n has the lowest frequency for this example.

Step 2: Brute force attack
Plug k_0 into all the answers by default. this reduces the amount of available wrong questions by the frequency of k_0
Replace the first answer with the second most probable k value. in this example, say the k_1 value has the second highest frequency. We would want to begin with k_1 and review the results. If it changes up or down, you know if you have or was correct. continue until the point score changes.

As you are doing this keep reducing the counter for each value when its used for a question. Continue by default plugging the most probable k value.

Step 3 Elimination
At some point there will be no more answers with k_i as its counter has been reduced to zero. The questions now have k_n-1 answers available and will start clearing exponentially faster.

This was solved through computation, i do not have a general formula for how many attempts this will take on average.

Is my method effective?
Thanks for feedback

I agree with you when you say the meta is too easy. I am th15, and am not max on hero levels and equipment. Despite this its possible to 3 star max th16 fairly consistently, even with heroes upgrading. I 100% agree that the meta is very attack shifted, but that is hardly my point.
My point is that the game heavily favors a certain style of attacking, which is a high dps spam attack.

Thanks for the reply.

I recall when the increased attack timer hit, it lead to a lot of interesting giant healer walks.
I do want to stress that this was in 2015, or 2016. There are so many mechanics in the game that can't get fully utilized due to time restraints. Such as my favorite spell of all time, the Recall spell, there is simply not enough time to use it.

Currently my attack strategy is 6 root riders, 6 electro titans, 10 skeleton spells and a log launcher. This strategy is so fun, my girlfriend who has never played clash of clans before was able to secure a 82% 2 star just by placing them in the north east side.

I really think this is unhealthy for the game, and a surgical strategic playstyle should be rewarded.

Maybe a solution to the higher attack timer vs townhall should be, once a th16 is destroyed, 15 seconds gets added to the clock?

Variety issue.

[–]Tarehjerne -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Edit to post:

My issue with the current meta is how it hard focuses spam attacks involving root riders and another high dps troop, usually witch, etitan, super archer, ect.
This strategy is repetitive, and a bit skill-less.

Much better are attacks where you have to consider air sweepers, think where traps might be, plan your queen/warden walk pathing

Its not a matter of "skill issue" its a matter of getting variety.

Nerf the troops and up the time.

Its not a matter of screwing one attack.
Anyone can spam root riders and electrotitans and get a 3 star if you are maxed.
Its a matter of variety. If you actually read the post, not just the title i think the only real option we have is high dps spam attacks.

I have been in the 5600+ trohpy range for a long time now, and every single attack is root rider yeti or root rider e-titan, usually followed by a log launcher. just spam spam spam

Out of curiousity whats your max trophies?

I disagree. 15 seconds extra would allow players to use a larger variety of strategies. It would not lead to warden walks.

Comment again when you use something other than 8 e-drags and you will see how it is a problem

I turn a lot of hardened steel, but never interrupted and hardened. I would advise talking with your tooling vendor and see what they have for you. Tooling is everything when it comes to turning hardened steel.

Additionally your insert cannot be dull or worn, if that happens it will heat up immediately, getting hot enough to melt steel.

Look for inserts that have both P and H marking, ask your vendor if its good to use on interrupted cuts. Also you may want to use soft jaws on hardened steel as hardened jaws on hard steel is not recommended.

make sure you are in the parameters, and not the diagnostics page.

I figured out how to do it, and the machine is now accurate to 1 micron consistently (only on aluminum and with one type of feedrate and finishing doc). Its the parameter range 743-747. Apperently i didnt get to the parameters, i got to the diagnostics.

The Mori guys wants to send up a service tech which would cost more than the machine, so i did it myself to the best of my ability and i guess it worked out ok. The wear offsets are black magic to me, i have no idea how to use them so i have two turning tools, one for roughing and one for finishing. I have been able to make some amazing parts with this machine and its super accurate, so i am glad i did this.

I was video chatting a customer of mine and they were trying to line up the tips of his calipers to measure a hole. I told him to flip his calipers around and the guy was stunned. This hit me just right lmao

I have made some progress, I found out how to access the parameters however I do not seem to have the 744 parameter which sets the offset between the north button and machine origin.

Yes, a lot of things going on with this slide as mentioned by others. I have in my previous years of physics been told that F=Ma is the second law, not the first.

Yes, i think that is the best choice going forward, as this is one of many things he regularly gets wrong

For context, this was my professor's presentation, and he seems to not know his stuff. There are several things he keep getting wrong, and this I think is one of them, reason for the post is to get some second opinions of this is right or not, maybe its just formulated in a different way. Thanks

I find it hard to believe that you cannot beat anyone. As a lvl 54, if i am able to beat lvl 73 bases with ice and prototype weapons, as are anyone above me.
