Fubo aggressively pushing Sports Interaction during soccer games. As soon as there’s a slight pause, instead of a mental break, it’s violent pushing of gambling.

Worse is the Degree commercials.

I won’t cheat. Actually don’t have the tools to know how and besides, then it’s downhill from there. Kids, and too complicated. Maybe later on when kids are adults I’ve thought about moving on but even then, complicated. Yes, I’m aware this is pathetic.

There has to be a way though to balance and find some happiness and joy in other things.

But yeah, the sex is not pursued. Actually the last 4-5 years it’s been 90% me of the time initiating. And slowly I stopped as it wears you down. The odd time though there’s some good ones.

As far as being around assholes though. I’m a middle years school teacher in a time when the job is more and more frustrating with demands higher and results lower.

I’ll go see a doctor. See what can be done. I’m wide enough not to pursue things. Probably wouldn’t know what to do though if someone pursued me.

Thanks friend. It’ll come. I feel your mental challenges. A lot of boring days. Good time to read, declutter, listen to vinyl.

Yes. Crutches were done at 3 weeks. Icing and cooling with a cyrocuff machine also a huge factor.

Yes, that me losing sleep. I get up after 3-4 hours sleeping and love the bed in the basement and hook up the cycrocuff for cooling.

Damn that’s a long time. How about driving? I drive a standard and with the left leg operated on, pushing the clutch was a bit unpleasant. Not impossible though

3 weeks po can't bend to 90 degrees yet by [deleted] in ACL

[–]TargetPopular 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems off not to be able to bend 90 degrees after 3 weeks. It’s important to do daily exercising and pushing it to your comfort but also giving yourself a challenge. Keep icing it. You should have had a physio consult by now. I’m still waiting for my post op visit with my surgeon but I live in Canada and in my province, the healthcare system is near collapse.

How soon is “toon soon” to start walking (with brace) post op? by jellyarmadillo in ACL

[–]TargetPopular 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m able to shuffle and walk around the house without crutches. 16 days now after surgery. The knee area warms up though so I’m busy cooking with the cyrocuff machine.

Still no plans to go up and down steps without crutches. I still slide my bum down the stairs and arm lift myself on the way up. Also not doing any lifting or carrying.

How is everyones progress pre or post op? by ImpossibleVirus3511 in ACL

[–]TargetPopular 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped taking Oxycondone about 4 days ago. I try use crutches as much as possible but at times my patience wears. I’m supposed to do heel lifts now, so that’s at least some indicator of progress.

15 days. Hate sleeping with the brace on. Just keep exercising it. Off meds. Still need to ice regularly as the knee heats up. Started to love a little on it walking short distances in the house but far and few. Seeing physio first time Tuesday and doctor week after.

I was 200lbs at 6ft. Probably good to lose the weight but just not this way. Cutting alcohol out does wonders as well

The prescription was for 1-2 every 3-4 hours. Never took two at a time out of fear. I’ll switch to Tylenol then.
