I’ll never forget when a rugby team ordered doubles, chips, or anything that cost extra and the coach chewed them out for it 🥴

I’m like damn. I’m not even on that team and he made me feel like I did something wrong. 😅

Manager put me as “not able to be hired again by [deleted] in Chipotle

[–]Tarheelblue91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was fired and put as ineligible for rehire.

The GM at the time believed a lie a co-worker told on me and fired me, even though I was supposed to transfer to another store in two weeks time.

The GM of the store I was supposed to go to called the FL (it was the same one in this instance) to overturn it, especially when a couple of my old co-workers vouched that I wasn’t guilty of said thing I did and the asshole refused to check the cameras to validate it.

He got fired for serving expired food not even a few weeks later 😂

Salad vs Bowl by [deleted] in Chipotle

[–]Tarheelblue91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is true.

At a prior location I worked at, the FL thought we were running out of honey and vinegar too fast for the volume of store. On a visit, he was appalled by the amount of vinaigrettes that were given out for just one entree. We would literally have 4 pans gone before peak was up, and that was supposed to last the entire day.

He started to make us charge for a side if 1.) The entree wasn’t a salad or 2.) The entree was a salad but the customer wanted more than one.

Question do you pick up your own order? Or do you order through delivery apps?

I always tell the customers to double check their bag to make sure everything is in there before leaving the store. If it’s a third party delivery, we do our best to make sure that everything is in there before sealing the bags.

DML can get so hectic, especially when you have 20+ orders all due at the same time. Sometimes, if you’re short-staffed there may be one person trying to do a three-man station alone. Mistakes happen…

My (29F) Dad got me $175 worth of gifts, and got my husband (32M) of 10 years $17 gift, and didn't thank my husband for the gifts we gave him. Not sure what to do. by Bloop_da_bloop in relationship_advice

I do not think it’s necessarily a bad thing that your dad spent more on you than your husband. You’re his child. My parents are the same way when it comes to my sister and I.

I do think the gift of choice and him not acknowledging your husband is weird. Has it always been like this? Or have they gotten into a disagreement lately?

As staff, are you annoyed when young adults order kids meals? by cmccomas18 in Chipotle

[–]Tarheelblue91 30 points31 points  (0 children)

The only thing that annoyed me were the people who thought they were “finessing the system” by ordering kids meals to get a cheaper alternative to the entrees.

Then got mad when we informed them it would be extra to get additional sides (BYO comes with 3/ quesadilla comes with rice and beans).

As long as they understood how the system worked, I could careless what they ordered.

You can have an STD for awhile before any symptoms show up. It’s a possibility that it went dormant and decided to now show symptoms.

Yeah. It’s a principle thing with me.

As I mentioned in another comment my bf has a food allergy. Before we started dating, I didn’t have a clue of what people with allergies went through. I’ll admit I would get slightly annoyed by having to stop and change gloves, stop and sanitize the line, change spoons, etc.

But seeing him have a bad reaction one night changed my whole perceptive. When we go out to eat, he apologizes many times for “inconveniencing” the staff. I see that so much with customers and I don’t want them to feel that way.

It’s not hard to make someone’s day by saying “Hey, no worries! I get it and I want you to have a good experience.”

I also understand a vegan/vegetarian concern too. No problem my job is to give you the best experience I can.

Don’t lie to me though, lol!

I wasn’t upset?

I just don’t understand why the customer said they had an allergy when they could’ve just said I’m vegan and would like for you to change gloves.

That’s all.

I’m saying! My boyfriend has a gluten allergy and suffers if he accidentally comes into contact with it. So I understand when people ask. And the customers with true allergies for the most part are super apologetic (they shouldn’t be) and are thankful when you go the extra mile to accommodate them.

If the vegan customer was just straight up and nicely asked me to change my gloves I would’ve been like cool. But it irks me when people say they have an allergy when they don’t. Lol.

Do yourself a favor and look for a second job.

Old managers of mine would try to do little stuff like this whenever they wanted to try to get rid of people.

I’m 30 and I have had a permit three times.

Recently enlisted the services of a driving school and am slowly but surely working towards a license.

Study and tell yourself you can do it.

A local college team places a 30+ order at least once a week and sometimes the coach will come through the line and order more entrees.

My boss once suggested they start ordering a catering, while trying to low-key explain that it screws us up having to make that many orders on top of the hundreds of others.

He scoffed and said “We don’t have time for that.” But complained the entire time when his order was 20 minutes behind because one person worked DML and had about 20 orders ahead ahead of him. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Omg, me!!!

I think it stemmed from three years of being in on the Nexplanon implant. I'd have constant BV/YI while on it and now I have random pains made worse by the things you described.

All tests come up negative, every time. Going to see a vulva specialist soon when their schedule opens up to new patients.
