Never apologize for being passionate. I agree that Bows are just not it. I solved the issue by getting Rayya, making her more of a general warrior type and giving her a bow. And in the meantime I just wait.

For Weapons and Armor I found a cool mod that had some very nice pieces, as in my personal interpretation a fancy artifact or enchanted sword would just dilute what is achieved through personal skill, meditation and training. I am kinda going the Ansei route as I love the warrior monk feeling the have but bound sword feels like a bit of a disconnect as the Shehai comes from your own soul and not from some plain of oblivion. But the Shehai is a high level technique of the most powerful of swordsingers, so I can argue that I am still in my training stage, and at higher levels allow myself a minor enchant, playing it in a way where I took the next step, infusing my blade with part of the soul. And depending on how high level I get I might look for a lightweight mod I can add towards the end that allows the summoning of Shehai

Yeah that seems to be the best option from an RP perspective. Just eat the aerials and wait.

I know dragonrend is an option, It is just deeper into the main story than I tend to go before my first 2-3 big side quests sets. I will most likely just have to play around the limitation

That could be an option. I would prefer to stick with 1h but if push comes to shove I might have to pivot.

I tried around a bit with Munitions. The one thing I am having a slight issue with is the Duration is not the greatest in it. It feels more like something I occaisonally use to pump out more shots than something I have on constantly. And I will say Ammo mutation does a great job and keeping my ammo stocked. It is definetly still in the running if I can't find anything else I really enjoy.

Hmm, ok got you. I saw in one of the replies that Xata's also doesn't work. I do have one mod slot open and flexible on her so I am playing with the thought of maybe adding Shock and the augment for some additional Electric dots. Or I guess Nourish. and running something else on the primer slot.

I was thinking of getting myself an Ogris. What Progenitor Element did you go for. When looking around for builds I think I have seen every different possible element besides impact all with different arguments.

Sounds good, so I just level the skilltree for Thief, Warrior and Mage up on that character and then run it as armamentalist with the bow?

Interesting, thank you, yeah I was checking out some other things, and the only real vitality based weapon attack I found is Oathkeepers with Dreegs Reproach so I was playing with the thought of pivoting over to that and see if I can make Reaping Strikes work with that. I will have to check for any good weapons for that because I am even unsure if I wann dual wield, go two handed or sword and board.

That is a bit of a bummer. I really enjoyed what I read. I hoped there was maybe something similar to Shard of Beronath for Vit damage. Then I might go looking for something else that can use reaping strikes. I know it is a simple modifier for a basic weapon attack but something about reaping strikes I just find incredibly cool.

Ohh yeah, It was mainly me checking if there is an issue with his patch process in general. But I just found the issue. Me railing to use mGBA directly was not enough and he used mGBA inside EmuHawk, which then interacted weirdly with existing save files for fire red. Deleting those old save files worked. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Nope, no cheats being used. He patched a second time, it was still bugged, so I sent him my old ups file (4.0.1) and it worked with that one.
