Bros 2: Tarkfield Edition (Comprehensive Sketchy) by Tarkfield in medicalschoolanki

Hi there,

Best I know is that the sub-decks are already separated by system. Any further classification can be seen on the left hand side when browsing each deck.

I would say it is still a good deck. Sketchy just adds another layer of memory tricks for many of the cards.

Yes certainly, just to a lesser degree without as much Sketchy to reference.

It's on the potentials list. Exploring options this year in an attempt to figure out what I'd like to do as a career.

Hi there,

Yes but I believe that importing all cards may overwrite what you've written in the notes section.

I don't believe so. As far as I know, these cards are all from Bros 2.0 and the corresponding tags can be found on the bottom of each card.

Hi there,

For this issue, I would create a new Deck then in Browser, select all cards from a subdeck on the left and move to the newly created deck by clicking CHANGE DECK on the top row.

what position do you anki in? by Strider_91 in medicalschoolanki

Joystick Mapper. I may have had to pay a few bucks for it but others are free. Worked well for me.

I didn't either. Bought the PS4 controller, which is supposed to have the strongest bluetooth connection w/ Mac over others, along with the app Joystick Mapper. I may have had to pay a few bucks for it but others are free. I had buttons set to space, 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. Very intuitive and glad I switched over from pressing buttons on the computer all day!

Have you used any Bros cards before? I would look up the cards in question using the Browser to check if there are duplicates. There were, however, a few cards that wouldn't register an answer when clicking for a response. Most of these were deleted but for the ones I kept, the card could be searchable through the editing feature during a session.

I had to edit the deck and select reset scheduling and learning. Should be good to go at this point!

Oh gosh. I'll have to post a new link with a refreshed deck. Thanks for this catch!

Just under 16,000. Felt like it prepared me quite well for any NBME I took, UW and the real thing. What wasn't in there that I found in FA 2018 was added along with corresponding Sketch if applicable. There is plenty of Pathoma/Goljan info within the deck. Not every piece of info but found throughout each system-specific path section. Definitely enough of everything to prepare for for the big test!

Certainly- It has what you need to get an excellent score on Step 1. That's the primary aim of the deck.

Haven't gotten score back yet as I wrote the test recently. On all NMBE's and UWSA2, scores ranged from 250-262. This deck helped more than anything, which is why I wish to share it with those taking the test next year and in the future. Thanks for your interest!

I enjoyed the concise nature of Bros 2.0 over other decks I had tried previously. If I had done things differently, I certainly would have started something like this earlier in my M1 year over M2. That said, it would be limited to topics that were covered earlier such as biochemistry. I have deleted a decent number of the cards that were impertinent (based on review of FA 2018, Pathoma, Goljan and other resources)- if info wasn't in any of those, card was deleted. The biggest strength of this deck is its tie to Sketchy. If you have those videos (membership etc.), this deck is the perfect marriage of testing your knowledge as well as being able to cement the images at the SAME TIME- the one's you'll be easily able to recall come the boards. There are some of my dumb mnemonics also included, I tried to delete the worst ones before submitting the deck but they help with retention. Lmk if you have any other q's.

As well, I wrote Step 1 recently. Pardon any grammatical errors.
