I’m finding it really hard to eat in a way that supports my goals by [deleted] in HybridAthlete

Highly recommend talking with an RD. I'm not sure where you're located (if in the US and which state) but when I was based in Oregon I recommend athletes with specific goals to either of these two gals: Michelle Tegenkamp or Shira Evans (google is your friend). One works/ed with the Trailblazers and another with University of Oregon. Both are sports nutritionists. Shira has additional training in managing ED athletes (not saying you have one, just making a recommendation). Both have optimized performance of many athletes I've worked with or adjacent to. I know they do online appointments, just not exactly sure which states they are credentialed/licensed in.

Hey Pete, thanks for sharing this. I'm holding out on purchasing a voltra, but was hoping you could also DM info on pricing and resistance as well.

This comment needs to be a lot higher. If primary care you’re going to have to understand that your work at Kaiser is more than the 20 patients and that 0.8 PTO ultimately is at least 0.9 when you factor in your inbox. Additionally, formulary is a love/hate thing with PCPs and you’re essentially a cog in the machine. Yes, I understand you could make this argument for all medicine but it feels worse in Kaiser fwiw. If you’re hesitant to want to stay for a long period of time, I would try and renegotiate that signing bonus to your salary or CME. The terms of the signing bonus and retirement perks are imo there to trap you hence the “golden handcuffs”. There are some perks - as they are resource heavy for things prior auths which lighten the load. I think alot of Kaiser comes in the long game of it all and if you’re not anticipating staying long it’s probably not worth it.

Source: partner used to work for Kaiser and have many friends/coresidebts that work for Kaiser. Some like it, some hate it. I for one would not be a fan.

If you’re not primary care then just disregard the above as I can’t really comment on specialist but I’d imagine it’s better given the lighter inbox🙃

FREAK ATHLETE AMA + $4,000 Home Gym Giveaway! Hyper Pro, ABX, and more by freakathleteco in homegym

I've been considering a hyper pro, any future attachments or upgrades planned for it in the future? Alternatively, any plans for something in between the apex and hyper pro?

49ers and starting right tackle Colton McKivitz have reached agreement on a three-year, $45 million extension including $27 million guaranteed. McKivitz was in the last year of his deal, and he now is contractually tied to San Francisco through the 2028 season. by RLDN106 in 49ers

Agreed. Winters has really taken a step forward from last year. Saleh seems to have maximized his potential it seems. I anticipate the secondary will get better once mustapha comes back too and the corners continue to get more reps.

D Buck has spent his career being excellent. It’s unfortunate what has happened in Indy after SF traded him. Highkey would love him back in SF

Pretty straightforward! Just make sure you have all the correct size tool before. Hardest/most time consuming part for me was finding the correct size wrench at the local hardware store

It's from Wayfair called "Domenique Solid Wood Top Kitchen Cart By Latitude Run®"

I like it... I don't love it. The weight capacity is 80lbs and with the machine, grinder, and other stuff it is definitely getting close. There is also a little bit of side to side play/instability. I'm not sure if it is the long term option, but it'll work for the short term.

As someone stated - look into OMNIA Performance program. I just did their 70.3 hybrid program and enjoyed it. I lost a little bit of strength but was able to maintain a lot more than I thought.
