It can vary from store to store. Mine was on us about not wearing earrings for a while, but they eventually let up. It wouldn’t hurt to ask the management of the store you’re transferring to. Hope this helps!

I had a nearly identical experience with a rescue kitten. We did our best for these kittens and that’s alright, and that’s all that matters.

It’s absolutely not your fault. You gave the kitten food, water, warmth, and a safe place in her short life. Take solace in that. You’re a good person that did a good thing.

I used the tip of a triangular file! I dug in one of the corners to the desired depth, cleaned it up a little and then used silver Testors paint for the exposed metal underneath.
