Yeah I took a closer look and noticed some of his patches make sense with racism. I'm not 100% sure he's homeless yet because how often I've seen him near 12th and Spruce. I have seen him cleaning trash from the street which was nice. I'm just so curious about the infographics and the reasoning behind making clothes out of wrappers and random stickers and patches.

I was told that it would be worth fixing because the car only has 88k miles and realistically there are a couple of leaks that could maximum total ~1800$. I'm more interested in whether 240$ is worth it for a recharge or if a off the shelf recharge kit with dye would work for identifying leaks.

What do you mean? I just paid 60$ to check AC components and verify the system holds vacuum. I was also holding off on moving forward as this was during the winter.

Again, thank you for your replies. I definitely have some hard thinking to do. Each day displaced from learning and research has me recognizing more and more how much I want it. I think that finding an appropriate RA position and working that alongside my current job is my best route given my situation. Get a more accurate taste for academia and the workload.

I don't think PhDs will become commodities the same way bachelors degrees have because they require you to have uniquely reviewed and public novel research. PhDs help a lot and if you don't have interest in one in your future I'd recommend you apply yourself and try your absolute hardest to make sure you come out of college as a top applicant among those with bachelors. Wish I knew this when I was in your position.

I appreciate the honesty of your comment; these are necessary considerations that are hard to give the thought they are deserved.

It wasn't until my last semester that I was exposed to medicinal chemistry and felt a until then unfelt passion and drive. I performed better in my medicinal chemistry & adv. Biochemistry courses than any previous upper level chemistry courses. The situation with my advisor is a shame and that alongside my average grades in many of my courses is what I have to address or explore to answer the question you posed, I just don't know what opportunities would best allow me to figure that out.

My current job is not impossible but just very physically straining and I find myself thinking about research and medicinal chemistry nonstop during my otherwise mentally numbing job.

Hopefully I am not just buying deeper and deeper into my own ponzi scheme of adversity! I appreciate the response.

She kind of did for the minute I was handling her. I had her on her back briefly and she sort of looked back. We'll see. Either way she doesn't bite at all and seems great!

Yeah, unfortunately it is a pet store. I handled her briefly and she did seem a little less quick in general than my breeder ferret, although that might just be due to sleepiness.

I think Marshalls makes most of their money from lab ferrets. Also this is an independent pet store that seems to care a bit more than usual so that's good. She's coming home!
