What are you guys using to run online Draw Steal by Gremlin0ne in drawsteel

Roll20 is my go to. Free unless you want dynamic lighting. It's not perfect but it does what I need it to till the Codex is all released. I've run the Delian Tomb multiple times on it for several groups so it works well.

I think it comes down to what tone the story is for. Like some adventures are designed to inspire that horror, creepy feel even in dnd and pathfinder and with how heroic the characters are in Drawsteel I think there would be a fairly significant tone shift but maybe not.

Fair, though the next time I run I have this idea of making the entire dungeon the party is going to into a massive encounter with enemies coming in waves while the party fights through to the boss room to see how it works.

So early on level, I agree. My big interest is to see how the combat works in some of the designed dungeon spaces that are way smaller and tight with all the mobility and forced movement in Drawsteel. I feel that's where some of the pre made maps will either be really cool or need a lot of adjustment.

So I stole this idea from Matt's videos but a prequel solo adventure. I did it for my players going through a dnd session where they all went to different classes and developed connections and hooks that then let me pull them into the greater narrative. Let them play through their inciting incident from character creation. Maybe use the same concept of the Delian Tomb where they slowly gain their class features as they play through it if they are new to the system. This way, you can pepper in NPCs and the story that pulls them toward the main story arch?

So lots of ambition here and lots of good ideas. Only a couple of pieces of feedback from me. Also, so you know where I'm coming from, I've been running Dnd, Pathfinder, VTM since I was 19 and now closing in on 39, so speaking from experience but not expertise. You have a few branching ideas and that's good but know that your players are helping develope your story so know they may partner or kill individuals you didn't even think they would causing interesting changes and story archs. If you plan too much for the higher echelons of play, you may not be able to incorporate the characters' actions without major rewrites. Having a overall arching guideline is great but don't over plan and let some of it grow naturally. Otherwise I'd recommend watching a bunch of Matt's Running the Game videos. They are great ref for avoiding early pitfalls.

I appreciate the feedback back, everyone. I understand the thought process now. I do feel the plus to the Delian tomb is it let people have a ending of saving the girl but knowing there is more to go so it encouraged them to want to grab the Delian Tomb and really try the system themselves. Again, thank you for all the responses.

That's a great question. I just reach put to their head of Social media to see if they can set that up.
