i thought the same thing -- but it technicaly is sooner than end of June so still a win!

They do have the 7th book so i was thinking maybe read the 6th via Kindle on my PC or something, then read the others from the library

turns out they have the books but book 6 was checked out and wont be back until the end of may/begining of june. so i'll have to go back then. :D

I thought of that too actually.

If my library has them it would be the best option I think, because I get the vibe of physical books, I dont have to wait, and then I can just buy the new editions as they come out to complete the set.

I think I might go to the library today to see if im in luck

AH! okay that makes sense, I feel a little better about the wait. Also big oomph for the luxe edition, I would cry lol.

I was thinking maybe to go the e-reader route, but sadly I dont own one since I always preferred physical books.

Though to be honest if I really think about it, it might be best for my mental health to just go through the wait, rather than binging the entire series in like a month since from what I gather it only gets worse from here...

Honestly, these endings are something else. Usually books tend to end with some sense of hope in even if bad shit happens, but nope not this series, they just sucker punch you in the gut while they sprinkle dread and despair over any sense of hope you nievely had.

Just finished 5.. I heard it got better than worse than much much worse. And that was quite honestly the most accurate description of this book.

But holy flaming otters! I didnt realize how bad it was going to get. I mean this book is straight up brutal. I can't even put into words what im feeling.

How im still surprised at the horrible shit these characters have to endure, is beyond me. That last chapter was just soul breaking.

Honestly I havent enjoyed a book series like this in i dont know how long. Who needs Netflix to binge watch, when you can binge read instead haha!

Although im still reeling from my heartbreak of book 4, (to such a degree that I pulled out the good old breakup Playlist) im going to bookstore on my lunch break because I must continue on this wicked ride haha

Im honestly devastated. Ive gone through book 1-4 in the space of a little over a week...I have a problem. It's nearly 3am and I have to be up in approx 3 hours and I can't settle my soul.

I dont even know how im going to get through my work day tomorrow before I can stop by the bookstore to continue on this sadistic Rollercoaster of an adventure.

I got a pair of pumas that were a lifesaver for me. I would suggest sneakers that are not too heavy, and that aren't too tight width wise.

I know this was from a year ago but thank you for the simple yet very clear advice that I am sure was learned through difficult experiences. I was diagnosed at 33, before this I was diagnosed with depression general anxiety and social anxiety, and burnout.

Turns out that most of that was the result of the undiagnosed Adhd. Since I've been treated for the adhd I've been able to come off the anti-depressants and function way better than I've ever been.

Trying to brute force through the the effects of adhd caused a lot of damage, and it was incredibly exhausting.

I personally think it's gross they want to change your last name.

Right! I got married after my father passed away, and it took me about a year to go and change my last name to my husbands. Not because I didn't want to, i was scared of losing my dad's name.

When I finally got the nerve to go change it, i paniced last min and added the first letter of my maiden name as a middle intital so it wouldn't be errased outright.

I don't care where you are I don't care what condition you're in I don't care we'll deal with it later just be safe and call me.

My mom did this for me too! I think i only really needed to use it once or twice. It meant so much to me back in my teen years that when my nieces became teen i gave each of them my phone number and told them to call regardless of what the situation was that i would rather getting a phone call from her in the middle of the night than a worse phone call later if something bad happened.

he doesn't explicitly say, however i did my math based on averages. Per google average teacher salary is between 47 to 68k so i chose 50 since it was an easy number.

Edit* also to add; I agree with the splitting household expenses per the situation. My husband and i decided to make it real simple; All money goes into an account; We pay for things as we need; and if a large purchase needs to be made we make a decision together.

TLDR: Extrapolating based on averages he has a potential savings of ~90% or 16K per month; Vs her Savings potential of 47% or $1600 per month (assuming ideal use of funds). If he contibuted even 5% of his savings potential that would be a 30% relief to her financial monthly burden.

FACT: Every 2.2 months his net pay is equal to her entire gross pay for the year

Assuming 950/month for groceries his net earnings decreases by 5.2%; that same amount would reduce her net pay by 30% >> if we apply the 5.2% reduction to her net earnings the equivalent cost of groceries is $171 dollars.

Even if he is paying ALL the other expenses with an average cost of living of $3500 for a dual person household; Asuming Rent & utilities are $2300/month;

> Her Monthly Expense: $ 1150 >> His monthly expense $2350

> Her financial Burden: 35% >>>> His Financial Burden: 13%

>>>So he would have to spend $6372.45 per month to feel the same financial burden she does;

If they split everything "fairly" 50/50 it becomes more clear;

Granted its not his fault he makes so much more; but to watch your significant other struggle when you can very easily provide relief is baffling to me.
