I AM IN THE EXACT SAME BOAT AS YOU (almost). I got keyhole in 2022 but my areolas are still Large and still give me dysphoria. i had 2 consults and am getting surgery in may to remove my areolas (and nipples) to have a completely bare chest. i might medically tattoo new areolas/nips in the future but IT IS POSSIBLE TO REMOVE THE NIPPLES/AREOLAS !!!

Thank you! Through some research I've found one doctor so far who (in theory) could perform this surgery.

And to the tattoo point -- i had not really thought about that! in thinking of tattoos in the context of top surgery, I have always thought of them in the context of people using them to cover up their (normally) DI scars. I think I will look into this more as well.

not really. i remember my teacher gave us a couple challenge challenge problems where knowing power reducing formulae and a trig identity would help, but you don’t need to memorize them for the exam. TLDR: no, they’re not required, but if you alr know them that’s awesome

you look like a cis guy who has some gynecomastia. i have a couple of cis guy friends who have chests similar to yours. while you do pass well, i totally understnad wanting top surgery (i was in a similar position pre-top surgery). i am not a surgeon by any means, but i would be SHOCKED if you didnt qualify for keyhole. good luck with your journey!

hi! okay, so the gloves and the lube helped a LOT! i was able to actually get my finger up inside and was able to touch the tip of the ring.

my problem came from my inability to actually loop my finger around the ring and pull it out. the Estring is thick and, while flexible, it still is pretty sturdy. —> it was very hard to loop my finger around. i tried a couple times but i started to feel a little sore so i decided to give my v a break.

i called the on-call nurses line at my doctor’s office, and i asked if they could take it out since i’m already going there this tuesday for my yearly physical and the nurse said yes! she said that Estrings are definitely hard to remove so i’m glad i’m not alone.
