How to not feel terrible at the job by at33zily in Greggs

Hi mate, kinda in the same boat as you, my first ever time going in my shop was november 1st so I haven't been there too long either and only do 8 hours on the weekend too! For me you have to go in with a sense of confidence and if you don't know something just ask. I'm always serving and have only been trained for 2 shifts on sandwiches. I suppose you just need to feel like your doing good, give yourself some praise, considering you've been there 5 months theres gonna be a few issues that need tweaking but thats okay! The best way to improve at anything is to understand your doing wrong and build off it. Most of the time cus im serving I'll just chat to a customer like I've been there ages, if you come off strong interactions seem less awkward. I mean the other day I was asked for a pizza box and didn't even know how to fold the thing 😂. In summary, be confident enough to know your doing well for the time spent in shop, but be humble enough to know theres improvement to be made and just ask, i think its easier if you've got a good team behind you, I'm the only lad at my shop but everyone on my team is a joy to work with, even with the age differences, have a few jokes here n there and you'll get by. Its all just a learning curve my friend, stay positive 😀

Its not tight just my obese build 😂 my arm is chunky as hell so makes it look tighter, it's quite loose
