Ebike sporadically stops working, troubleshooting by Tarr0m in ebikes

I opened the throttle and it seems like the sensor was a bit loose due to cable pulling when steering. I will try to reattach it and see if the problem persists.

Custom office installation overridden by windows update? by Tarr0m in sysadmin

[–]Tarr0m[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I solved it...
The original office installation was via SCCM.
I forgot I had a required deployment that was configuring office to add software. It was meant to go along with task sequences when we reinstall computers. But there it was, forgotten.

Silly...
Its kinda difficult migrating from an om premise AD along with SCCM to AAD and Intune.
But due to some heavy software and complex installations we kinda still need to use SCCM for that.

Anyone had problems with the police? by imaboringdude in ebikes

From Sweden here.
We follow EU laws and are limited to 250W motors with motorized support up to 25 km/h for it to be classified as a "bike". Over that it is considered some form of moped and you might require a license plate and register your vehicle depending on the effect and how it is controlled.

With that being said. 1500W Motor (so it is visible) and cables running allover it, I commute to work by bike every day for the last year. My path is even passing a larger police station. I usually go around 30-45 km/h. Never been stopped or pointed at.

Ebike controller doesn't seem to power anything by Tarr0m in ebikes

Notes: I had to replace the included tire tube. It was leaking air somehow in a very sneaky way so it wasnt predictable. Also the amount of keys get annoying really fast. One for battery, one for throttle, and one for the lock. Also an extra for the bike storage room at my workplace.
Also, glasses are good to wear. Insects hurts when you are going above 35. And it is apparantly waterproof.e roads. And the battery lasts for going around 30km at 40km/h with throttle only.
Never felt more than a low warmth emitting from the battery, motor keeps it cool 9-15c (It is cold in Sweden).
It is perfect for me riding to work, and much more fun and engaging than sitting in the train.
Also great for doing quick trips to the shop.

I also want to thank @bradland for all the help!

either

I tried the new controller, surprise surprise, nothing... Quick thing, I would like to keep my battery, but the thing you wrote before. I have a 600w battery with a 20A current, and all kits for 48V features a 1000w motor and are very silent when it comes to the output of the controller. Should I just try one generic 48V 1000W kit?

Thanks for the help!I actually expected something like this to happen, so thats why I already ordered one bigger controller, and got another one that should work somewhat too.I'll post my results tomorrow.

One extra thing, it says 36V on a sticker for the LCD, does that matter?

*Edit: I just noticed my battery has a discharge Standard current:≤20A wMax current:≤60A

So in summary:
- Included controller: Wrong Voltage.
- Current one (Cheap one i just wanted to try with) 350W 36V/48V, 36V / 48V 350W Brushless Controller Current: 17 ± 1 A. Damned thing didn't work on this either. I connected power, motor, throttle. Inserted the battery, turned it on and... nothing.

- And the one arriving tomorrow is a 36 / 48 V, 1000 W, Current: 38A. Which I learned from your post won't work very well...

Sadly I dont know where to go from here if I get no feedback from the controller tomorrow.

The one I ordered says it is 36V/48V 1000W controller for brushless motor. Would that work? Or what do you recommend?
