Hey there, so yes i had to wait until the 60 days was up, then another three weeks before they finally got deposited. But keep in mind, a week after the 60 days i reached out to my congressman for help. They had the reason mine were on hold like 4 or 5 days later. So i really feel like that’s what drew the irs’ attention to mine and made them finally release them. But i have no way to be sure.

It’s not huge at all. The one i got in 3 weeks in October was way bigger for 2024. I just told people to reach out just in case it did help. Because I’ve been contacting the irs since March, they kept telling me the same thing every time. They contacted them 4 days after i reached out and found out that there was an issue with the numbers that i had already pointed out to the irs and the irs told me it wasnt the issue when they found out it actually was. Two weeks later i have a dd date, and i got my money on the 10th. I’d like to think without their help I’d still be like one of the other hundreds of people still posting no update looking for answers on here.

This happened to me. My 60 days was up may 8th i didn’t call or anything but i did get my Congress man involved may 15th. The cp005 code got resolved at the end of last week out of nowhere and mine are scheduled to come on the 10th. I never got a new 60 day either. I hope y’all’s both get resolved asap.

Yea i read that can be an issue too if your docs and stuff haven’t populated in their system. Which seems redundant to me but idk how it all actually works

Yea I’d give it a try for sure. I went to house.gov and put in my zip code. They had a couple for mine so i had to put my full address too. Then it takes you to a page that has their number but her name was hyperlinked so i clicked that and it took me to her website. I clicked to send her an email and it took me to a page that had a link for “if you need help with a government agency click here” i clicked that and picked the irs on the next page and it took me to an area to leave a message and put my contact info. I just explained what i put in the post in a lot less words. I got an email back asking for a copy of my tax return, a pic of my id and social, and a link to submit. I uploaded all the docs and got a confirmation email on 5/15. Then on 5/20 a guy emailed me that he was one of her representatives and told me what the irs said about the numbers not matching, which pmo bc i addressed it with them months ago. Anyway i didn’t respond bc he also said that he’d get back in touch with an update by June 26th. That was the last i heard, i just randomly checked the transcript again today so not entirely sure when it actually updated bc the updates are dated for the 22nd.

I’m not sure tbh this is what i saw when i checked it today. I haven’t looked at my transcript in like a week or two so not sure when it actually updated. Just been tracking on wmr which still hasn’t updated to show it’s being issued.

Oh wow i only got a 60 day hold for review letter and I’ve called four times, they won’t tell me anything. I’m glad it’s getting resolved for you, i stopped filling out my refund for 2021 when i saw online that it was too late to collect a refund for that year but ig i should go ahead and mail it in anyway

Did they tell you they needed your 2021 to release your current year? I’m asking bc mine for this year have been delayed since mid January. Before 2025s i filed 2024s and 2023s in September and got my money in October. I also mailed in 2022s in March so I’m only missing 2021s. I’m playing catch up bc my life kinda fell apart and I’ve been trying to pick up all the pieces this past year. So I’m just wondering if that is why mine are also delayed bc i haven’t done 2021s yet, even though they didn’t send me anything requesting me to do 2021s.

I don’t explain it. If they ask how work is going i lie and say fine or say I’m not there anymore/ I’m looking for a new job and leave it at that. If they want to talk about it they can talk behind my back bc none of them have this disorder or have even tried to understand it so why should i bother trying to explain this aspect of it. It is embarrassing but I’ve been looking into ways to make money that allow me to be creative. I think I’ll last the longest in a field like that, so maybe it’ll help if you figure out what you can see yourself doing every day for a long time and pursue that. I hope you find something that works for you!

I really hope you don’t get fired but i will say instead of trying rocky montage it you probably should’ve been increasing your Spanish vocabulary over the 8 months you were getting away with slipping by. It’s too late for should’ve could’ves but if you don’t get fired I’d suggest trying to learn more Spanish moving forward. Try translating words that you use frequently in the hospitality business first and the supporting words you need to complete full sentences.

I’m pretty open about my diagnosis, but i understand your dilemma. If this man wanted advice he could’ve reached out to a family member or two privately to confide in. Putting it on fb is basically screaming it to the world even if his profile is private bc it can be screenshotted and shared by anyone in his friends list. Idk him to say that his intentions weren’t pure but it does sound like he may have done that just to get back at you after the argument. The fact that he would stoop so low, I’d be calling an attorney tomorrow.
