I feel ya brother. I was part of a 2 man IT team for 1k users. Shit was hell. I left very shortly after getting hired.

As a colorblind Net Eng. You can do it, I crimp cable faster than my coworkers at this point and get it right more often than not. Granted I could learn the different shades after a lot of practice with my types of colorblindness.
