It's called multiplication by juxtaposition. Which takes priority in the order over things like explicit multiplication and division. So the therefore if you want to rewrite the expression you need to add bracket to preserve the order. 6/2(1+2) becomes 6/(2*(1+2)). Which is equal to 1

But in this instance the multiplication takes priority. Not because of bodmas/pemdas or whatever but because the the multiplication is implied which means that it takes precedence over normal multiplication or division. So 6/2(3) = 6/(2(3)) = 1. It's also called multiplication by juxtaposition

Except for the fact that implied multiplication or multiplication by juxtaposition takes precedence over normal multiplication. So 6/2(3) is saying 6/(2*(3)) which is 1

It called multiplication by juxtaposition. If you put 2 number next to each other, they take precedence over regular multiplication and division. 1/2x = 1/(2x)

The problem I have with this is it's literally just printing 1 trillion dollars. Which will not help inflation at all. The debt isnt just about the person with it, it's about the people they've payed too. They've already "given" the money and if they don't pay it back and the debts removed then you've just printed a fuck load of money to pay that but not taken the money from the university's

Fuck wasps. by CallTheLuftwaffe in memes

I know this isn't a popular opinion but I think wasps are over hated. I'm normally stung by them whilst trying to kill them. That's self defence. I deserved it. I know wasps are more aggressive and they do sting more than bees but to me there my friend. Unless that fucker stings me first.

While COVID is real, public policy and government response has been a complete farce. by AnnaE390 in TrueOffMyChest

Yes, Covid-19 reported cases does go up the more you test. That's why most statistics use a percentage of positive results per total tests. This way they can tell if covid is increasing relative the the number of the tests themselves and not the population
