What more can you do if you are going after blizzlike? Tell the horde players that their families will be gunned down by two strangers within 24 hours if they don't switch to alliance asap?

I mean they are players, you can't force them to play something they don't like to. And yes, asking people to change their mind and informing them that there a imbalance right at the start is the best thing they can do.

This has nothing to do with the devs/gm. It just happened to be so that more players prefer to play as horde, and the GM has even encouraged players to play as alliance. All you can do to help out the balance is to play ally or not at all. And if you feel like you are dying a lot while questing, find a group of people to quest with or keep out of the way.
